imo even elemination methods are way too specific, telling player where to find _a_bucket_ and which doors are usible is a very insulting handholding. Imagine if you played Hitman and that woman that talks to you on missions told you how to do everything, like, she talk to you, but it feels different from what we see in YS. IMO it would be enought if info-chan said something like: "Everyone leaves their phones in lockers when they use shower, so thats a good opportunity if you want to get her phone".
