He’s already failed as far as I’m concerned. He could’ve made millions sending out some mediocre sandbox meme game when the hype peaked back in 2015-16, but his laziness and ego screwed himself out of that golden opportunity.

Like just set your game in college or something and a significant number of your problems would be solved. Thankfully some of the initial comments are pointing out how utterly tasteless this is. Sure in an M rated game you’d be murdering your fellow students and taking panty shots for profit, but despite criticisms of the latter, I think most supporters agreed it vaguely with the tone of the Ayano character (as in you weren’t meant to fap to the panty shots, you were doing it because Ayano would sink to any level for senpai).

But putting them into an erotic game really doesn’t offer any argument as to what the intentions are. I’m sure this will generate the exact kind of PR you need to get your game unbanned from twitch. Idiot.

I haven't checked here in quite a long while. Seeing Alex drop his trousers and toss this up is honestly hilarious. Not that it surprises me in the slightest, but did he really not think to himself, "Wow, I wonder what my reputation will be like among other indie devs if I just have this crossover with a porn game so my OCs can be in hentai." He's made fun of around so many circles that he legitimately just gave up. An utter fuckup.

To quickly agree with the rest of the thread, his time of glory is over. The simulator genre is now far away from the same meme-like games. I doubt that even if he were to hypothetically release his Kickstarter, it won't get funded. It'll be on Indiegogo and he'll sap every dollar he gets. He lost the groove and I bet he hardly wants to even release the game anymore, he'll be accepting of his status as a streamer.
