In order to put an end to this sort of stuff happening you'd have to put laws in place to protect at the very least the kids, and hopefully everyone else that might fall for it. Unfortunately that means going up against a well-oiled, well-financed war machine funded by a $1T a year profit pharma industry eager to keep them happy customers. Sounds a little hard tbh.
On the bright side though, a pretty big law firm released about a month ago the trans equivalent of the Protocols of Zion which should give you a pretty good insight on some of the methods they use to get laws passed. I'll leave the document attached if anyone wants to read it but I'll leave some of the fucked up tricks they pull

Use the fact that people associate human rights violations to getting sent to concentration camps for pity points and getting what you want

Kinda personal, I used to want to be a worker in tech but I realized i would be swarming in troons and it honestly killed the dream. I have to admit I feel sorry for this person. A botched surgery promising a lifetime of pain along with your family disowning you?
