The way he said, "Oooooh yeah gimme your number," at the end was intensely creepy. It almost sounds like he came a little.
Also, hearing him tell the Snyder story in full detail is quite the listen. Him trying to rationalize his (Barb's) explanation of how he pretended to be hit by their moving vehicle is particularly incredible.

Can someone explain the Bates Motel reference? I'm out of the loop.

Yeah I've never seen the show either but it's supposed to be based on the Psycho character Norman Bates and his (not yet dead) mother. I assume it involves (other than murder) rampant mother-on-son cuddly ugliness.

I'm sure he actually tried to skirt around the issue and didn't just outright lie about it with a "hmm yeah, the car was stopped when he jumped on it." Is he less prone to lie to people he feels comfortable with? He was lying left and right in the father call.

Looks like. He did share a lot of information with Barb about whacking off. Probably lies more to strangers &/or to avoid being in trouble.

Chris's most effective lies are lies of omission. Most of the time, it's because he actually doesn't remember the details well himself but he is still good at leaving out bits of information whenever it might make him look bad.

In that sense, he's lying quite a bit here but I think most of these lies are because he genuinely can't remember things that aren't Legos or MLP.

Chris does actually believe that Snyder faked his injuries.

Has he always belived this or is it a mix of self delusion and what Barb has told him happened?

"I really dislike Rob Bell, but I can't remember the details of what he did or the basis of my dislike."

Unless Rob Bell got him off Scott free, unbanned from every shop in the area and ownership of the gameplace I am guessing he still would hate him, although I am guessing most of what he say's about him is parroting Barb's thought's filtered through autism and shitty memory an selective recall.

Barb. I don't think he had an original belief about the situation. The event was panicky and adrenaline-filled. Barb's crazy conspiracy theory filled the empty vessel that was Chris' memory about the event.

That would make the most sense that she has spoon fed him a version of reality to absolve them of any wrongdoing, But I don't buy the tard panic theory, it's never sat right with me.

But it is true that he was making this claim about Snyder immediately after the event. A year earlier, when he went to the Game Place to take photos, he claimed Snyder jumped on top of his car. And in the pepper spray incident, we all know that he perceived events in an entirely different way than they occurred. So I don't think it's all Barb. I don't know how, but Chris literally sees things that aren't there.

Barb hit Snyder too. She doesn't have a reason to hit Snyder.

Chris' perception is definitely fucked up. With the earlier incident, I think a better way to explain Chris' story then was that Snyder was looming over his car (as a result of being hit by the car and knocked into the hood). That probably felt to Chris like he jumped onto his car, particularly because Chris himself is never wrong.

But either way, it doesn't matter if you tell Chris a story that doesn't fit the facts, so long as it fits his feelings. Barb knows that very well.

Edit: Err, nevermind, Chris didn't hit Snyder that first time. But yeah, Chris was exaggerating things. A few times, Chris said that Snyder jumped in front of his car and that morphed into he jumped onto his car at one point.

Chris is stuck on the second floor. That's totally different.
Sorry, but the healthiest thing for Chris would be Barb kicking the bucket.* She's poisoning him with her insane delusions.

*Or him moving out, but that's not happening.

The Chandler pets will make it longer than Chris will if Barb dies.

Wait did CWC actually say he voted for Obama people he thought he was autistic?

That's the thing, I doubt he would survive long while she is a awful human being and a even worse mother she is about the only thing keeping him grounded (even in the very loosest sense). Chris is barely scraping by now when it comes to paying the minimums my guess is that he pay's for the Car (via barb), and the other debt he has stupidly accrued after being bailed out by Bob. Can you see him rembering to pay the Power bill's on time? Along with all the other bill's that living incurs? Seriously do you see him being able to do that? how about property tax? Do you think he is really all that cognizant of what that is? Or how to file it?

Anything more complex than toy's he hand's of to others.

Reactions: hm yeah
Aside from the obvious fact that Chris is willing to share the same tired and true stories to anyone who wants to listen, I've noticed that his speaking skills have considerably gotten worse over the years. His regional accent is stronger than ever, and his cadence and tone are as childish can be. He permanently speaks as if he's casually trying to seek pity and whine. It's gotten to the point where his impediments are almost like a parody of his 2009/2010 days. It's like he's unable to properly pronounce "L" anymore. He'll say "Mayos" instead of "Males".

(Also, lol at him calling John McCain "McKenny".)
