Which reminds me, any news on the models? He can't keep them but he just keeps adding shit without going back and, yknow, getting rid of stolen assets. He can't sell the game with them right? It'd be a pain to go all the way back at the end just to update models and animations.

I think most of if not all of the stolen assets are gone (there is potentially some of stuff like the MMD stuff lying around). Volunteers have modeled pretty much the entire game for free most of the time. However he still is using the godamn unity store models on his characters. He also stated how him using the stolen assets was alright since it was placeholders. Despite yknow, making money of the directly off of the game’s development.

Mostly just because using shit from a asset store tends to be frowned upon. I mean, literally anyone can now buy those models and pretty much take your games identity if you used them enough. He also originally stated these models were placeholders like the other models but then based the entire game around them. Basically meaning a lot of volunteer work could be lost as many animations are tied to those models.
