Speaking of gayops, I got banned and then unbanned in the midst of all of this nonsense. I've stopped posting though, nothing I can post is half as good as anything cascade posts anyways.

I really hope SA is still around come November though. I think it's possible to convince goons to Toxx up by just being pitching sadbrains defeatism from cheeto hitler.

yeah thats the thing, i highly doubt they've bothered to impliment anything. yes there are goons who could probably do it in an afternoon. there's also probably plenty of goons still on his site right now today in 2020 who could fix his forum's code or migrate it and make a xenforo skin that looks the same but we've all seen how that went.

look i just came here because this was a really wonderful dumpster fire and i don't want to be some new nigger who starts posting and acting like he just bought the house from the bank, so i'm gonna chill out and go back to lurking after this paragraph, but aside from the technical considerations, you come off as less credible than qanon when pushing this idea. i'm not saying you have a girldick but you probably have a girldick.

I've no idea whether they do this or not, but if they weren't retarded they could make it so that each poster has colours for elements like the page background that are slightly different hex values from the default (small enough differences that they aren't noticeable at first glance) and use the variation to indicate a number and thus make it possible to discern a user ID number from a screenshot. Or they could do a similar thing with fonts that all have tiny variations like slight differences in kerning, or different margin sizes or whatever.

They're probably too lazy to have done these things, though. And if they start banning people we'll know that they're doing this we can easily find ways around it (like just changing the formatting on the browser-side).

you couldn't do that, the namespace is just too shallow. There aren't enough whites that your eyes couldn't tell apart for a forum that size, not to mention you can just inspect the css logged in and out and see that that isn't the case.

If I recall correctly, ZDR is a low-tier phone tech support type of IT professional, and has been such for several years. He actually needed help from other goons to fix CSS mistakes.

We are not talking about a guy who actually demonstrated impressive technical prowess, so it is reasonable to assume he didn't get the position due to it.

you wouldn't have enough different settings for most of those things to uniquely identify a user from that alone, you'd just be able to use it to narrow it down, and some of those things get overwritten by browser or os settings on some people's systems.

it would probably be hidden in random reference points or in the light intensity of the corners or gradients. to be effective there would have to be at least a few in the post body and one by the username or reg date so they can't just be cropped out. there's a few methods its done.

this may as well just be fantasy shit for somethingawful though because even if they ever had an admin who knows enough about math to set something like that up, its hard enough to do that and reliably decode it on a static image. let alone implement it onto a forum where it has to do it live for each unique user on the site. the entire undertaking would be bigger than the forum itself just to protect tranny chatlogs. 100% fearmongering.

Looks more like a weirder, rl version of one of the frumpy, glasses wearing librarian-type ladies from the Far Side comic strips. Although that does seem to be one of the default 'looks' I've seen for a lot of the regulars who've posted pics in the Something Awful troon thread.
