Those are just the most creepy Tweets in that chain of ramblings, there were a lot more. If you read the proper Tweet-chain you will notice his review and thoughts on the book and film start off relatively tame, then it's like something clicked in his head about how it relates to child sexuality and he just goes more and more down that rabbit hole with each next Tweet.

People like this guy are the exact types that want to Trojan pedophilia into LGBTQ+ politics. People like this are real, they absolutely exist, and they're a danger to both children and the optics of queer politics.

Hope this isn't old news but Mommy Dearest has signed Desmond up for the service "cameo".
The premise is that anyone with 2 shekels to spare, young & old alike, can pay this 12 year old's parents for a video message from Desmond.
Apparently this is not against cameo's policy, since there are kids as young as 8 on there (other examples - Side Eye Chloe, Messitt twins).

He is allowed to refuse video requests that his parents deem unreasonable, but that doesn't stop the pedo-lite types whose requests might not be outwardly gross, or who are just looking to be acknowledged by a child.
