I dont know if this is a controversial opinion or not but I hope he gets his shit together and its nice hes setting goals for New Years and all. Gonna go a bit powerlevel, but I found this guy from the Channel Awesome drama (from what I remember he did a good job with that video) back in 2018 or so and kind of watched him on and off since then, and I actually liked a decent chunk of his videos. I did notice a decline recently, but I still think most of his videos are pretty watchable. Its the random political tirades, regardless of whether you agree with him, some of it is so out of place and annoying. The new meme video was really bad with it, but when hes not doing that I usually think hes ok. I thought the Star Wars ep 9 vid was pretty good tbh. I was actually surprised to find out he had a thread here, because he seems better than most of the people with threads on this site. I can see why he does, especially since I just found out about all the internet slap fights. I dont follow him on Twitter and it seems like he can be a bit of a drama whore on there too. For the most part though, imo he seems like a decent kid whos trying way too hard to fit in and chase trends annoyingly. I wouldnt call him a lost cause yet, but he really needs to step back from Youtube, get a real job, and just do videos he wants to make on the side as a hobby or something. 23 is still young tbh, and I hope he will end up gaining a bit more self awareness.
Anyway not sure if anyone cares or if I even shouldve typed this, but theres my perspective as someone who has loosely followed him for the past year or two and only found out about this thread a few days ago. I wonder how many Vegeta scanner emojis I will get for this.

you can tell he's trying to be someone he's not; he's trying to be a BreadTuber, and he's trying to be politically involved, but you can sorta tell in his voice that he doesn't want to.

sorta feels like he's sacrificing his own happiness for the sake of political correctness lol

personally, i think it's for attention (he just wants his fave BreadTubers to notice him uguu~ ). its a bit depressing, actually, cause if he didn't feel the need to be so overtly political in his videos, this thread would only be half the length. and maybe he wouldn't feel the need to 'try to feel happy again', as he puts it.

Mind that for all his spergery not that much information is known of how this developed so everything here is especulation, take it with a huge chunk of kosher salt.
If you want to blame anybody that would be Sarah Z, the only breadtuber that has ever given Quinton the time of day. Sarah's video "Bad Media Criticism" gave him a shout out as a "good media critic" and they even went to a true and honest date at In-N-Out during this year's VidCon.
If you want to go beyond that there's Beige Frecuency's argument about how Quinton felt that BreadTube was a logic evolution on his taste for being so theatrical and full of egos, satisfying his craving for pop culture dissection with a sense of self rightousness.
At the end of the day the short answer for me is that he just really wants to fuck or be fucked like any other incel but wants to feel like his quest is somehow more pure than anybody else's.

If you arent on the loop he is refering to the EFAP podcast episodes #66 & #67 which are both 11:54 hours long. Why he bother to know this and be both so specific yet vague probably can be explained by his one sided war with EFAP and that his new waifu (Jenny Nicholson) was the subject of episode #59. I only figured out it was EFAP reading the answers he received since I dont watch Mooler long enough to care.
EDIT FOR CONTEXT: I didn't ellaborate so for the sake of your time I'm going to explain in further detail and keep my previous post for historic reasons. Episode #67 is the one that triggered Quinton because his ROS video was consoomed by his two sworn enemies Rags and Mooler and one of the "guppies" JLongbone with the company of some other friends. I actually watched the episode they did on him, and it was pretty brutal. They all just felt sorry for how uncomfortable he seemed, and how he obviously didn't like what he does or even watch the media he reviews closely. I think the one they were reviewing was his video where he ended it with talking about his mental health and how youtube has made him really depressed. My take is he's so upset because they were pitying him. Pity is harder to take than hatred.

I've heard that Quintons Vidcon meetups with Contrapoints and Sarah Z. greatly influenced his decent into Breadtube, and to an extent, Id have to agree. I also believe, however, that there is a lot of merit in the sexual aspect of it (sex is an inescapable reoccurring theme of almost all Breadtube content.) I remember during his early SOTY appearance he claimed that he didn't see "transphobia" as a stance or anything other than a form of pure hatred and then his Contrapoints masterpiece happened and he sure loves bringing up "mouthfeel" now.

I think people are right in the sense that he's as much a salty virgin as the "incels" he claims to hate and saw Breatube as a way to get "tolerant" people to well tolerate him, but he also has a very obvious tranny fetish that is afflicting him as well. And the only people who love trannies as much as dick girl fetishist are, of course, faux progressives in comes Breadtube the corporate-friendly youtube approved group for faux progressives and our dude Q. must have thought at the time that a miracle was happening right before his eyes all of his interests coming together into one youtube based movement.
