These are so lazy and verbose it hurts. It's absurd how they painfully fail to understand comedy. I don't even have high standards, but these barely even register as humor. It doesn't matter if a joke has logical holes or doesn't astroturf every possible interpretation. That's why they're jokes, they're not meant to be so padded until you wind up writing a small novella's worth of a setup for a three word punchline just because you're afraid of somebody missing the joke.

I feel I should point out that souffle is eggs, milk, and pie crust with cheese meat and vegetables being optional. It's not very expensive or hard to make it just has a French name so flyover country pretends it doesn't exist.

This is a Reddit-tier meme which means there isn't even two layers of irony you need to dig through to understand it.
They still got it wrong. You're meant to present a controversial yet factual tidbit of information on the board. This is just them talking about something they did. And despite the meme normally being verbose, it's still more verbose than it needs to be.

The left doesn't actually support any of those things. In theory, yeah they're supposed to, but in practice they don't. The meme is coherent, legible, and decent trolling material, but it's not true. If a meme isn't true, it's not a meme.
The real difference between left and right is self-assuredness (?), which comes only from competence. Righties know they are good at something, so they are willing to use their judgement to at least try to figure something out themselves. Lefties, lacking confidence in their abilities, depend mostly on the hive-mind or their hierarchy to do the judging for them.
Lefties exist who are competent and self-aware, but they still have blind spots due to bias or social/mental/emotional/physical/sexual dysfunction. Otherwise they would be centrists or righties, depending on what values they prioritize.
That's not to say that righties don't partake in hierarchy or hive-minds; rather we don't outsource our judgement facilities to others. If a meme is shit, I'll call it shit; lefties need to rely on scripted responses or someone from higher up to get the memo and respond.
Something else: the broader a group, the shallower it's shared identity. You see this on the left among the anti-white coalition, and ironically among their most hated enemies on the right - white nationalists. The shallower your shared identity, the fewer diverse opinions and perspectives you can share before someone violates the norms; people stop giving feedback, leading to loss in bandwidth and quality.

Actual meritocracy is the only one that's false. There will never be "true" meritocracy. Wealth incures wealth and status incures status. This is the biggest problem with leftist hot takes on economics.
Also, the left, as a whole, cares less about meritocracy so it doesn't work on multiple levels.
