Eh he considered price in the review score itself. He didn't care about price as far as his personal spending was concerned; he always grabbed an extra entire meal in case he didn't like the thing he was reviewing. I still think he was spending four figures per month going out to eat back in the CT days.

He was talking about how he canceled his Adobe Premiere license (video editor) and at some point he added: 'I don't have the ability to edit videos'. Clip:

Shotcut is an open source video editor. I actually use it for my videos, so that's why I remembered it being on his desktop when I took the original screenshot.
It's pretty good, imho, and you can really make some very decent looking videos with it, IF you're willing to take a couple of hours to learn the program. If you already have experience with Adobe Premiere, like DSP has, then you should have no problem at all using Shotcut to make some decent stuff right off the bat, because the basics are like 90% the same.

That reminds me, Phil's reasoning for ending that DSP Tries It "because I didn't make back enough in ad revenue to justify the meal" was utter nonsense.
He stopped it because it was an extra avenue for people to make fun of him, such as the cup of noodles with a spoon, and the fact that he is petrified about detractors spotting any additional furniture items in the house.

I'm not gonna lie and say my desktop is pristine or well organized; but he seriously needs to clean it up and not have shit just lying around... that is, if he isn't trying to bait tractors.
He also has AVS Video Editor there, which has a free version which can allow simple splicing and commentary which is the most he ever does.
There's also Sony Vegas, which isn't an annual subscription, comes with a good set of options, and has never costed me more than $100. And if/when you want to update, they generally give you a nice discount; it's not free, but it's a fraction of the cost. And you can always research what comes in the update and get it if you want, it's not a subscription service, so no need to worry about shit like that.

Judges aren't beholden to many rules of decorum. They can very easily tell Phil to eat shit, they'd just need to pick the right words in which to do it. Phil would actually have to be present for that to happen, though, which we know he won't be because he'll avoid any situation in which an authority figure could possibly take him to task for his decade of irresponsibility.
Personally I'd want to see it just for some kind of semi-official ruling on, "no son, you fucked your own life up and you have no one to blame but yourself", but Phil isn't stupid. He knows that'd be the message he'd be facing, and he's not going to do that unless he's forced to at gunpoint.
"I don't wanna, so I'm not gonna." The rule still holds. Eppur si muove.

I tried to watch some of his KOTOR. Why the fuck is he even playing it if he's going to bitch and moan about how it's "boring" and "outdated"? He knew it was an old game and that it was a bioware style RPG before he touched it. Why can't he just play something else if he is so bored and confused by this "outdated" and "overly complex" game? It's not even that hard and he might learn to enjoy it if he used more than 2 brain cells to do anything beyond read chat. It's just sad to watch.

No he clearly despises games, this was evident when PUBG was down and instead of playing another game while it was updating he sat around and talked for an hour and a half.

Nothing he can do... that'll pay six figures as he's accustomed to. The GoutLord will stream six days per week until he dies. To do otherwise is to lose the wife, the cave, the "I'm a Big Boy" illusion.
Only way Phil stops streaming is if he finally does something that gets media attention and Hassan can no longer ignore it.
