Jake would realize more clout if he got a job as the bread stocker in his local grocery store. “Hey Violet, the bread aisle looks nice and tidy this morning! Good job!” In fact, if Jake got a 40 hour/week job paying 10/hr, he’d make twice the money. He’d also make real-world connections with his coworkers and maybe some customers.

Jake has been sheltered from the real world for so long that his only attachment is to his Twitter account. Even there, he has consistently and repeatedly pushed away people who try to get to know him better because he’s pining away for his lost love.

A shower, some new clothes, a haircut, and a few job applications would start to put Jake on the path to have a self-sustaining identity. Maybe 2020 will be his year?

I literally have no idea what Jake is talking about and I do stalk him constantly!

Someone really should post or repost a list of ol' Secret Gamer Gnome's writing credits. I've got pretty much ever Paizo product known to man and I'd love to scan through my stuff and see if I can find any common thread or if Paizo had to rewrite everything so fucking hard it's almost unrecognizable from any of the edited stuff.

He also seems to be admitting that his entire crusade has been a complete waste of time. Christ, this is just deranged. This is beyond the usual exaggeration. What we have here is a man who is nearly 40, who thinks it’s plausible that people can just commit murder and even mass murder willy-nilly, and no one cares or even notices. That there are these vast conspiracies made by people who are somehow able to devote “every waking moment” to attempting to kill one fat gnome in Niantic.

Obviously he knows this is all lies (I think?), but it says something about his social isolation and general immaturity that he thinks such a dystopia is plausible to an adult audience.

I mean, if we were planning to kill him, we’d just send a shipping container of tendies to his house and let nature take its course.

The media is paying far-right extremists a kings ransom to write... from the context and lead in it must be terrorist plots and child snatching guides. I know it's Jesse Singal and Breitbart but if I didn't know the Jake lore I would have been stumped.
