This food was discontinued, and then brought back: Planters Cheez Balls.

I really liked them as a kid, so I was eager to pick some up for a party about a month ago. I couldn't find any so I settled for the Utz ones instead, which I hadn't tried before.
They seem to be store specific, I've found them in Stop and Shop.

These were so great, the creme was ten times better than an Oreo but not like unadulterated sugar.

On a related note, was I dreaming, or did the original Oreo O's cereal have little creme marshmallow pieces in it? I was so disappointed when they brought it back and it was just cookies. Probably explains why I'm more of a savory snack person now.

These things were the best. 12 year old me would eat entire bags of them. Not sure why these got discontinued. Maybe low sales.

I'd bring these to school and got asked for a bite once. Being a complete sperg, I didn't think it was a bad idea to share them.

The kid started coughing after trying one. No one ever asked to try my food after that.

I miss the pecan Chunky bars. Now all you can get are the ones with peanuts and raisins.

I miss being able to buy Nestle's Milk Chocolate bars at a store in the USA. Last place I found the regular size bars was at a Smart&Final store about twenty years ago. You could buy the bigger bars online until a few years ago, and you could get the little "fun size" bars until about a year ago. Nowadays if you want Nestle's Milk Chocolate bars you have to go on eBay and buy them from suppliers in Europe. Buy mine from a lady in Portugal. Get 12 125-gram bars for about $56. Lady packs the bars well. I eat a bar every now and then.

I remember it was reformulated in the early 00s to have marshmallows for some reason? Then it was discontinued a little bit later.

I miss the Dragon Fruit Icebreakers Cubes. It was the taste of my childhood. I think they changed the recipe shortly before they stopped making them, because it tasted like shit at the end.

The marshmallows were a later addition iirc.

Also, I miss those cremewiches.

The orange ones were the clear winner, but berry was pretty good as well.

They still make the orange ones but you may already know that. I never had the berry or lime. I had one of the orange ones recently, and it tasted a lot different than I remember it. I suppose your tastebuds as a child are a lot more accustomed to really sugary snacks.

I only had these once but they are so fun and tasty. They are impossible to find in grocery stores so I can only imagine they are discontinued. :(

This is solely nostalgia for me, but Pepsi Blue. My family is hardcore Team Coke, but the when we moved into my childhood home we had no food in the fridge for a couple days except for a fuckload of Pepsi Blue we got for free from an event we went to as a break from moving boxes. It didn’t even taste like Pepsi, but blue cotton candy.

One of our neighbors at that house worked in a Coke bottling factory and would give us free cases of new drinks before he moved away. Im not a coffee person but I recall thinking Coke Blac wasn’t too bad.

My favorite Dairy Queen Blizzard was the Midnight Truffle. RIP

Skittles fucked up when they replaced lime skittles with green apple ones to match international mixes. True, lime skittles are now in another mix, but the original fruit mix of my childhood is gone save for limited edition releases. The smell of the bag was so good, and lime mixed well with every flavor. I hate green apple candies because they always smell and taste floral to me. Green apple skittles are not the exception.
