Liberal women support troons because they believe these losers are oppressed and protecting them gives them the illusion of power. The same thing goes with non-whites and non-straights. It doesn't matter how fucked up they are because they're victims just like women and therefore deserve to be protected and supported at all cost. Hell, they support islam as if muslim men won't gang rape them and post it online for everyone to watch, but muslims are "oppressed" so they get to cancel anyone that calls a middle eastern a terrorist even as a joke. So this is all about rebelling against the patriarchy™, feeling good for being on the right side of history, and having power for once.

People believe in inferior ladybrain stuff because it's what they've been taught since they were kids and it's convenient in adulthood. Think about how convenient it is to think women are only useful as housewives and whores instead of making an effort to educate girls and make them stronger. You get slaves whose only purpose in life is to serve you. Who doesn't want that? And women that don't want to do shit with their lives also benefit from this because they've the perfect excuse to depend on men and nag about everything. So it's a win-win situation for those that agree.

only fools would want that. You can keep someone captive but you can't force them to be a good parent, and if you marry an unambitious moron with the goal of keeping her at home to raise your kids, you can't do that without passing some of her stupidity onto the kids as well. Hell, the kids might end up hurt or dead if she makes an error at a critical time. Having an educated mother (regardless of if she stays home or not) means your children are going to be more educated by spending time with her, and will be safer since she can make better judgments. The amy ramadan thread is a good example of how terrible things can become if a totally stupid woman is in charge of several kids, even if she is happy to be a stay at home mother.

Excuse my 'tism, but this isn't quite true. Feminist orgs have long beat the drum about female STEM representation, however female students in the US make up most chemistry, biochemistry, and life sciences majors and graduates and graduate students. They also make up most med students. The notion that women are underrepresented in STEM only applies if you decide that STEM means physics and computer science, since even in maths there has been relative parity in undergraduates (although female maths majors are far more likely to become teachers than male maths majors).

The 'Champions' breakout, who came out as transgender in 2018, has joined the cast of the comedy featuring original stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley.

The Saved by the Bell TV sequel has cast its lead.

Champions breakout Josie Totah will star in the half-hour comedy from Great News creator Tracey Wigfield. The series is expected to launch this year on NBCUniversal's forthcoming streamer Peacock. Totah will also be credited as a producer on the show.

Original stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley will reprise their roles as A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano, respectively, in the single-camera comedy that explores what happens when California Gov. Zack Morris (Mark Gosselaar's role) gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools and proposes the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High.

Totah will star as Lexi, a beautiful, sharp-tongued cheerleader and the most popular girl at Bayside High who is both admired and feared by her fellow students.

The role brings Totah back into the NBCUniversal fold after she starred in NBC and Universal TV's short-lived Mindy Kaling-produced comedy Champions. Totah, who came out as transgender in a moving Time essay in August 2018, is fresh off a recurring role on Netflix's No Good Nick. Her credits includeSpider-Man: Homecoming and Amazon's Lee Daniels-produced pilot Good People. She is repped by WME and Rise Management.

The new Saved by the Bell was picked up straight to series in September. The comedy hails from writer Wigfield and is produced by Universal Television, where the 30 Rock grad and Great News creator recently renewed her overall deal. Wigfield will serve as showrunner and executive produce alongside original series creator Peter Engel and Franco Bario (Great News). Lopez and Berkley will also produce.

NBC's streaming service, Peacock, is set to launch in April with originals joining the lineup in summer 2020. Saved by the Bell is part of an ambitious slate that includes a Battlestar Galactica reboot from Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail, among several other projects. Details about Peacock will be unveiled Jan. 16 during an NBCUniversal investor presentation.

Part of the reason women are still not at parity in senior roles is the childcare thing. Women take a hit being pregnant, taking maternity leave, and go back to work part time more than men do. Over time it all adds up. If you’re a couple with kids, you have three jobs: your jobs, and looking after those kids. You either split it whatever way works for you, or hire in help/childcare. Most people can’t afford or dont want to outsource all the childcare so a lot of couples end up with one of them taking a career hit. That’s more often the woman than the man, and often that’s by choice.
The whole job gap thing is complex and tied into child rearing and work flexibility, as well as societal expectations and whatever daycare/mat leave your country has. It’s not as simple as women not being capable, or not wanting to take on roles. Often it’s just that the husband earned a bit more, so it made sense for you to be the one doing the school run, and over time you fall behind. It’s not a grand patriarchal conspiracy nor is it women being unambitious. It’s just how life pans out

That kid is going to look like ass as a “girl”. The only way he'd be the most popular “girl” is if the school is the type that straight-up worships any kid who troons out.

Schools worshipping these kids makes me think zoomers might wind up seriously terfpilled on the topic of trannies. Most kids resent the popular kids, especially if they’re assholes (and most tranny teenagers are assholes) and if their popularity is completely undeserved.

Absolutely. I remember everyone having anti-drug and abstinence-only education stuffed down our throats, and everyone ending up more pro-drug and less aware of the consequences of sex (therefore more promiscuous) because of it. And there are legitimate reasons to avoid drugs and hold off on sex until you're ready.

Troons bring absolutely no positives, and the other kids will resent them for being coddled and getting special privileges. Every girl will resent being pressured to handmaiden, and every boy will resent having to m'lady; and that's if they're on they're best behavior. More likely, you wind up with sexual harassment and the school administration covering it up or supporting crybullying when the other kids push back.

Children cannot consent to transgender treatment, a nurse bringing a landmark legal case has said, claiming that many are autistic, homosexual or just confused.

Susan Evans, 62, a former psychiatric nurse at the Tavistock and Portman NHS foundation trust, said that “experimental” and “invasive medical treatment” should be prevented in order to protect children.

She is working with a woman known as ‘Mrs A’ the mother of an autistic 15-year-old girl who is on the Gids waiting list

Later this week, the pair will lodge legal papers at the High Court in order to commence proceedings in a judicial review against the trust and NHS England. Their legal team will argue that the provision of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones at the Tavistock for those under 18 is illegal because children cannot give valid consent to the treatment.

However transgender children’s charities have criticised the case, saying that children should not be denied the right to make decisions about their own bodies, simply because they are trans.

Ms Evans told The Telegraph that “some children are referred despite having autism, being homosexual or suffering some form of trauma or sexual abuse”.

She added that sometimes such children are referred for treatment “after only an hour or two”, and that most do not have access to therapy unless they are “very lucky”.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Today show, the psychiatric nurse also said that children as young as nine or ten are being asked to give informed consent “to a completely experimental treatment for which the long term consequences are not known”.

“No matter how clever or mature they seem, I don't think a child can possibly comprehend what their future adult life will be like and what they’re consenting to potentially give up or risk to their medical health.”

“These children are not coming forward with a straightforward symptom like a skin rash or something of that nature, they’re coming as people, as individuals, who are confused or distressed and very often have other comorbid aspects.

“For example, 30 per cent plus are autistic, many of them have suffered some form of trauma in their earlier lives. Some of them are just very confused, anxious, or socially anxious children, but I think this sort of rapid affirmation and fast tracking after maybe three, four or five appointments I think is just terrible.

“I really feel it's got to be questioned in the courts now because we've tried to talk to the tavistock as have other staff at the tavistock and it doesn't work.”

Lawyers acting for Susan Evans, a former, which runs the UK’s only NHS gender identity development service (Gids), and “Mrs A”, will file papers to commence proceedings in a judicial review brought against the trust and NHS England. The papers are expected to be lodged on Wednesday.

According to her crowdfunding page on the CrowdJustice website, Evans raised concerns about the treatment approach of the Tavistock with its clinical management team.
On the CrowdJustice website, Mrs A, the mother of the autistic teenager, said she worried that “no one (let alone my daughter) understands the risks and therefore cannot ensure informed consent is obtained”.
However Lui Asquith, Legal and Policy Manager for the transgender children's charity, Mermaids said: "The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which this country has ratified, states that every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously.
"Our 25 years of experience shows that ignoring gender diverse children causes serious irreparable harm.

“We see some truly heartbreaking outcomes when parents refuse to accept that their child is transgender and it's deeply concerning that anyone should seek to empower those who want to deny young people the right to make decisions about their own bodies, simply because they're trans.
“If we lose the voices of children in this conversation around gender identity then we risk losing the children altogether."
Cara English, Public Engagement Lead at Gendered Intelligence, a charity which aims to increase the understandings of gender diversity, added: "Either a young person can consent to their medical treatment when presented with all known information about that treatment, or they cannot.

"These are highly individualised conversations which cannot be reduced to simple talking points or a reductive rolling back of enshrined rights through the courts. If we were, as a society, to allow for children to be stripped of their agency when choosing what’s right for them, we set off a dangerous domino effects of others deciding what is and isn’t right for all of us.

"If this case is successful in removing Mrs A’s child’s right to consent to medical treatment, the line in the sand is removed: A loss to trans youth is a loss to all."

A spokesperson for the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust said: “It is not appropriate for us to comment in detail in advance of any proposed legal proceedings.

“The GIDS is one of the longest-established services of its type in the world with an international reputation for being cautious and considered. Our clinical interventions are laid out in nationally-set service specifications. NHS England, monitor our service very closely.

“The service has a high level of reported satisfaction and was rated good by the Care Quality Commission.”
