I don't ever want to be in the position of wk-ing for Amy but her mother seems like a complete flake and quite a piece of work. Amy and Barbara aren't attached, in the true sense. Barbara seems to spend her time in the visit waffling, nitpicking, and wondering why kids she sees once a year don't treat her with instant respect or want to do the things she wants (like walking the boy to class when he doesn't want it). Videos like this give an interesting insight into how a person such as Amy is produced and who else is in that rotten lineage. A reformed drug addict nitpicking at the kid they abandoned about where they learned their (poor) life management skills is some rich shit indeed. Anyway Amy took it quite cheerfully so bless them all, what a mess.
It doesn’t matter how she was raised or what her mother did. She’s what? 38? She’s a goddamn adult and just because her family sucks and she wasn’t taught those things* doesn’t mean shit. People come from shit backgrounds all the time and don’t turn out like Amy.

Nothing I wrote should be read as a defence of Amy's home life or honesty, I think I've been pretty scathing about both in fact.
