The problem is that Nick has been doing moral grandstanding about “traditional catholic values” and decided that instead of focusing on a narrow issue like “America First” (issues like immigration and foreign policy) that we need to concentrate on social issues as well. Had he kept his condemnation of homosexuality to not wanting it pushed on children or not wanting to normalize trans stuff he wouldn’t be having this issue.

I mean, he's right. Jerking off to loli doesn't hurt children so I can't really get mad about it. It's degenerate as fuck and shows obvious pedo urges but the act itself isn't inherently bad. This clip is pretty damning, especially alongside the context of the 10 hour datestream.
As much as Nick's defenders have said that it's normal for hetero dudes to act ironically gay, and joke around about gay stuff, it's even more normal for them to talk about girls, or want to go somewhere girls will be to meet some, or at least check them out, when they're hanging out together for 10 straight hours, especially when they're at the age Nick and Catboy are at.
Catboy finding it so hilarious when someone asks if Nick likes girls, and then following it up with his serious answer of the generic "he wants a wife and family someday", which is basically a Fuentes tradcatholic talking point, is about the worst way he could've handled that question short of a catty, jealous tirade
