Who gives a shit about American rankings? When it comes to academia you need to look at the world rankings. My school is ranked in the top 10 for my country and the University I'm going to in 2023 is usually ranked number one or at least top five. What really matters though is where they're ranked in the world. Top 120 and top 50 in the world respectively.
