Arin Hanson / Egoraptor / Grump - "Hey I'm Grump!" of Game Grumps fame, hypocritical SJW doxer, shat himself recording a let's play

I don’t really understand why Arin felt the need to justify his behavior by “I’m having fun” when he is on record freaking out at some kid animator poking fun at the story time animators. When, yanno, the kid was just having a bit of fun.
Or how he renounced new grounds for it’s toxicity when it’s really just a bunch of goofballs having a little fun.
I don’t recall the animator or most people of new grounds fame scamming their fans constantly or verbally abusing them...

Why do you keep calling him a kid? He’s a grown ass man!

I would add the super gaming brothers. Remember when Arin used to have commentary from a game design perspective? Johnny has you covered.
Arin’s “commentary” on game design was shallow and puerile, and showed a very poor understanding of truly good game design. It was more of a one-man circlejerk over games that appealed to his blinkered tastes.

Three months before Arin blames a lack of viewers on Russian bots.

You joke, but George Takei got the MeToo lasers targeted at him only to claim "russian bots framed me" and it FUCKING WORKED.

Arin honey, I'm going to need you to ACTUALLY hydrate and not YOUR VERSION of hydrate now. This is getting (Lord know I hate this word) cringy.

341 all-time player peak on launch day is an incredibly bad sign.
For comparison, the all-time peak of Dream Daddy was nearly 15K.

This is a battle royale game, right? Steam says the matches are 50-player, so at it's current player number of 84 that means there's at most two or three games going (assuming some people just close the client after losing). It'd be pretty funny if this game goes through what The Culling II did and has a very early playerbase drop to the point where it's quite literally unplayable, even more so because it's free and ostensibly should at least be able to scrape by on a modest population of people just playing a match or two to check it out.

It apparently has bots, at least, so as long as the servers are running it likely won’t be “unplayable” due to low population. Instead, it'll basically be just two or three actual players and 47 or so AI opponents, which is practically a death sentence for a game unironically trying to make its money off of microtransactions.

I mean, it doesn't help that there are only American servers up right now so anybody other countries will suffer from a shit ton of lag, but it's also fucking Early Access.

  • Something like Press Buttons 'n' Talk (ProZD's lets play) focuses on using voice actor skills to add more character to a game.
I gotta be real, even that doesn't sound fun either no matter how talented you are at voice acting, using voicework to "add" to a game is more annoying than it is funny. Considering that and the fact that ProZD is a proper Arin shill and always joins any mob against Jontron, I'm giving his let's plays a pass

What's funny as well is if you just add air quotes over "voice actor skills" and "add more character" then you have one of the most basic formulas of a Game Grumps playthrough.

This is actually how PUBG mobile and Fortnite onboard new players now; you don't play in all human matches, you play bot games advertised as all-human-player games and usually you get to stomp them, which inflates early player interest by making them think they're good at the genre and a survivalist, so they stick around and spend money in the cash shop to look cooler than the cookie cutter bots pretending to be free players.

God dammit Ross.

Archive for when he backtracks.
I am all for free speech and what-not, but this makes me angry and I wish there were some way to punish people for saying such things.

Every day, Ross slowly but surely keeps adopting more and more of Arin's worst tendencies.

EDIT: Is the post gone for anyone else, or is it just me?
Disregard my deleted previous post, Ross was making a joke/bait post and I fucking fell for it. Thundercats Roar isn't even out.

EDIT: Wait, no this wasn't bait, the show IS out. I'm double retarded.

Get angry for what, Ross saying he drinks man-child tears? I mean, If you have to add a stipulation to liking a show, that says something on it's own (About both the show and the viewer).

Remember when Jim Carey ditched his go-to comedy to make deep movies? Got into painting and political commentary and made something of himself?

I'd honestly be slightly interested in Arin just sitting down, shutting up, and making a calm video about something like animation or whatever brought him fame. A lot of content creators I follow (C list or otherwise) have these one-off videos where they ramble on about something they're passionate about, and it's always very sobering.

Of course, that'd require effort, and won't happen.

That's the weird thing: he was doing solo videos for awhile where he would go back through his past art folders, reminisce with old stories about people he worked with on Newgrounds, and discuss/show some of his unfinished projects that up until that point had never been seen before, alongside other videos of him doing relaxing Buster Runs from Mega Man X and talking about his YouTube career. And everyone loved them; people praised them as much as the solo Dan episodes because Arin was just being the relaxing straight-man/down-to-earth kinda guy that people loved him as back in the day. Even RantGrumps loved those episodes, and they usually hate fuckin' everything

Of course because Arin never reads the comments and figures he knows better about what he's doing than his audience, he immediately ditched that for his solo LP of Chrono Trigger and went back to his annoying self, only without Dan there to bounce off of. And, well...we all remember how bad the Jimmy and Franklin videos were. All because his solo videos didn't get as many views as Dan's did.

It's not on TV right now for the general public. It's not unreasonable to think Arin and Ross know the creators and have seen it privately. They are super connected in the commiefornia creative community.

No, that he likes Thundercats Roar. I cannot wrap my head around a person saying or thinking that.
