Exactly. What made it get under my skin was its similarity to the agp wanting to "borrow" his daughter's name and narcissistically not understanding why that was wrong. It's so "ME ME ME" centric any attempted comedy can't be laughed at in the "so absurd it's funny" way.

I don't think they were memeing, that seemed like a genuine request to their court of crazies. Which is worse.

For cases like this, it's cool that there's a Rabbinical Assembly and actual verification to prove who's a real jew and who's not. The state of Israel should be called upon more often to decry these pretenders and make them go to Torah tutoring or STFU. Pit the autismos against the rabbis and their red tape I say.

Theorhetical situation: If you've got someone's dox, can you just submit them to a synagogue for "I want a bat mitzvah" and get a formal "no you're NOT really jewish!" reply letter? Might generate some good reactions if the process is short.
