I was just going to post about "damn near". They way he writes, with all of the folksy blue collar language, the "damn near's", "hell of a's", it's not even remotely feminine or dainty. You'd have to go to a backwoods Log Cabin Republican to find anybody "queer" speaking like that. In a timeline where Jake had stronger parenting he is totally the kind of autist you'd find working in a toolroom or something. Or just a game nerd gnome larping as a woods gnome tradesman. That's why I find Jake so intriguing. I just can't fathom what went so wrong that he behaves like this. He literally became the old joke about the hairy fat man pretending to be a girl on the internet. I would think the shame should be absolutely crippling, but that's how he lives! How precious mommy's special boy must have been growing up! And that sort of parenting gets you nowhere, look at what he says about his mother.

That accusation is Jake's "GOTCHA!", or what he thinks is going to work to make everyone nod their heads and agree "THAT'S HORRIBLE!" without any critical thinking and investigating the claims he's making. He's very reliant on appeals to emotion to cover up the fact his actual evidence for anything sucks.

A Jakeism/Gnomeism I came across a while ago is a sort of all purpose "basically" meets "full on" and that's "legitimately." It's got hundreds of results and is pretty much always unnecessary exaggeration and/or is a warning that what is about to be said is not at all "legitimately" true.

It's legitimately interesting how Jake will dance around what the accusations are that his abusive former friend is spreading around.
He won't say what it is. Now, we've all been saying that it's just the obvious: that he's a beardgnome in an attic. But he's been happy enough to say that his other various online stalkers have talked about his beard and other aspects of his physical appearance. He then does one of his non-denial denials, but he at least references the basics of what people are saying about him or have said about him. The sailor bubba stuff and "some guy in Texas" are both actual things people once upon a time said in thread, and also give anyone a pretty good idea of what in general Jake probably looks like.
But when it comes to these accusations that make all his friends stop talking to him with no notice and cut all ties, and warn other people about him, he's completely mute. Whatever it is, it's got him running way more scared than revelations about his facial hair.
If I had to guess, I'd say Jake bragged too openly about his "investigations" into child pornography and someone has logs. What I wouldn't give to see them.

. I really think he believes that there are people out there listening to him that don't know who he really is.This, of course, is fantasy. But it's one I think he can't let go of. I don't really think Jake's a pedo. I think he's just a comically sad loser larping online as some twisted kind of cope that's way beyond run its course but he's unable to stop. He has to realize that showing his true form to a couple of the people in these circles was a massive mistake, and he's trying to compensate for it as best he can. It -any sort of rehabilitation- ain't happening, but he's too fucking stupid/autistic to get that.
I actually agree with what someone mentioned above - picking up a drinking or drugging problem would objectively improve Jake's life, at least temporarily. Hell, the difference in thought patterns might be enough to get him off this whole trip and onto something else. Chances are low, but continuing down this path is what - death by diabetes within 5-10 years? Worth a shot.

I doubt it. Jake's too clueless to get anywhere near child porn without running directly into the arms of a federal agent. And what we know of his tastes isn't pedophilic - he likes extreme guro content and gender transformation.
Rather, I think CHELSAY and the other abusers just tell it like it is: Jake's a beardy, clingy, beardy man who will try to slide into you if you so much as give him the time of day over Twitter.

He has said on multiple occasions that lies about him being racist have been spread by former friends.
I do think, though, that the one accusation which he won't acknowledge/ repeat is the extent to which he is a creepy limpet who takes a mile when given an inch. His laments about whisper networks and his exclusion from them make this even more likely.

Actually it’s the opposite. Political extremes on both sides are a minority, but there’s an us-and-them mentality particularly prevalent on the left that says anyone who says anything wrong, even once, is Hitler and must be rejected. Those people don’t become right-wingers.
I know Jake thinks everyone except him is so dumb that those cunning Nazis can instantly trick them into becoming one of them, but I’d be very careful about levelling that accusation when race is a part of the discussion. If I was looking for an excuse to cut Jake off, the suggestion that an intelligent, successful black man is easily tricked by white people into changing his entire political outlook to white supremacism could be interpreted as pretty racist. Sounds like a dog whistle to me. Sounds like he’s implying black people are dumb. Sounds like he’s implying that white supremacy is self-evident.

I thought it was a nice little visit into Jake's theory that Nazis are everywhere but also totally just 25 dudes in their mom's basement (similar to Movie Blob) with his suggestion that they have to create 200 accounts. Then do that fast bot account switching or whatever it is.
I wonder what kind of "therapist" Jake has and whether or not they dissuade his paranoid delusions. He seems to indicate that he regularly "educates" them on some of them, mostly trans related but it seems like it wouldn't be difficult to get that whole war he's fighting to come up just by asking him if he's been doing anything.
I'd love to take him up on that demand he made that someone interview him. Not even to try and uncover all his lies but just to be able to question him about the details of his worldview to try and spell out exactly what it looks like.
Speaking of wondering, I wonder what made him finally decide to label Zoe as evil in harsher terms than he's ever used before. Can't imagine it will last though. I do like how he's increasingly drifting into some kind of sinister backstabbing plot after all the years of claiming it was a mere misunderstanding. Maybe he had a brief enlightenment that nobody really cares about Zoe, especially not his current "friends" and how the rest of the internet has kinda moved past her. He seemed to care more about Bex's latest round of NEED DISNEY suicide baiting than he did everything in the wake of Alec Holowka's death. Though I still need Jake to have a Googleshng where he suggests that could have been him due to Zoe.
