I've done some research on this game, and if this is DSP, holy fucking shit. I think if this is him, he spends more time on this game than he does his channel.
This channel runs WWE Champions content as it's mainstay, was mentioned earlier in this thread (this is the guy who spent $200 on pulls for Hulk Hogan). Dude seems cool enough, honestly, jokes about how sometimes his wife won't get off his computer to let him make videos so he has to record from his phone and that sometimes he spends so much on pulls that he'll have to "sleep on the couch". He definitely leans towards whale, but he's monetizing this, bear in mind- he gets some of the money he spends on pulls back, it's his channel's main content etc. This is an expensive hobby that it seems like he enjoys. I could be misinformed here, this is just my impression from watching a couple videos on his channel. I've seen negative comments about him on the /r/WWEChampions subreddit, but I'm not part of the game's community so I can't really speak on it's consensus.
This dude is level 157, VIP level 13.
Dave (IF this is his account) is level 311, VIP level 12.
I just want to quantify this. The channel I've mentioned is a modest Youtube channel that basically exclusively creates content around this game at present moment, and he is
HALF of this presumed DSP's account level. He publishes 2-3 videos of this game A DAY sometimes, and STILL he is that far behind. How much fucking time does DSP have to spend playing this game to be that far ahead? Not to mention a lot of gacha-type games (note I cannot confirm this one) use a leveling system where each level is going to cost substantially more XP to reach than the last... what the fuck?
I don't know how exactly VIP works and why the modest channel is a VIP level above DSP, but "gold VIP" costs $500 a year. It is a subscription service at $25 a month. Take that as you will.
Here (
live page) is a post on the /r/WWEChampions subreddit on VIP status.
And to close out this post,
Here is a spreadsheet I found showing the datamined odds this game has for it's gacha. "Silver 3-Stars" have a .5% drop rate. "Silver 4-Stars" have a
.02% drop rate. All of the "DSP" account's featured wrestlers are "G
old 4-Stars", which do not even have drop rates on this sheet. Bear in mind it's older, but holy shit. I guess they're made somehow with high level crafting materials that cost a firstborn or something?
Gacha industry standard is 1% pull rate on highest tier, by the way. The equivalent of a Gold 4-Star in something like Fate Grand/Order, one of the more popular gacha games, drops 1 in every 100 pulls. It seems like the first step to a Gold 4-Star drops 1 every 1000 pulls. There's probably some developer aid to make getting them easier, but holy fuck.
OP seems to possess more knowledge on the game then I ever could, so if he could confirm or deny that would be awesome. I am in absolute disbelief if this is DSP, this is levels of whale that I have never seen before, and I have been around the block with gacha games.
