HI kiwis, spergs, speds and everything in between. Am just a lurker, and will continue to be so, however I just wanted to chime in with some info; Fantasy Soft Entertainment is not a newish studio, and has been a company- or at least operating as such since about or before 2009 iirc. Vic was chosen as the voice for the mc in the early 2010s or a little earlier I believe.
Apologies, it's still weird hearing and reading about FS on Nick and Hei's videos and on the farms after knowing about them for so long and I'd hate for ya'll to be misinformed.

I truly hope him and Vic are still on good terms. I think Vic mentioned once during a livestream that he misses being a dad to the children of his first wife and he likes being a father figure to his fans (I'm fairly certain he said that, but maybe not in those exact words). Aaron must've been like a son to him (or a little brother).

Checked Aaron's twitter and he stayed out of everything. Doesn't like any tweets regarding the situation. He did like some tweets by the guy that, according to zeroresurrected, called Vic a "homophobic piece of shit" during the roast panel. Those tweets were only neutral ones about the convention and the panel, though.

I don't know where Aaron's allegiance is, but last I checked, he was still following Vic on his Twitter page, as is Caitlin Glass, Skyler McIntosh, Johnny Yong Bosch, Chris Ayres, Chuck Huber, Mike McFarland, Colleen Clinkenbeard and Sonny Strait, and they still work at Funimation, so make of that what you may.

The signing is happening at that funko pop store today. No photos or videos of the line yet, but the fact that the line is already out the door all the way to the street outside tells me it's going good.

What I make of it is that this Mafia Don Sabat Talk is a bunch of shit. Is he being underhanded I’m dealing with a potential rival in the behind the scenes part of dubbing? Depending on how much is on him, yeah. Is he this Harvey Weinstein type that holds careers in his hands and is feared as much as God? That’s a stretch.

It really is hard to say, but when you are near the top you do have more say and influence so I could see lower VAs sucking cock to move up on the totem. We would need one of Nick's sources to confirm or deny it but we do know Sabat ain't the kind of person you want to be around. We will leave it to discovery to uncover the rest.

Also not a surprise there is a con where KV VAs are gonna badmouth Vic. They can't just get him off their mind. Probably costing them 4 to 5 digits in profits because nobody wants to spend money on those kinds of people. Your main demographic is pervy teenage boys. Sure adult women like the real housewives but that is mostly because they find it hilarious over the silly fighting.

Btw can someone tell me if that pop convention is selling a lot of Broly figures. Just kind of curious is all.
