We've got some guidelines around here about revealing too much of our personal lives... None of us want to become a cow ourselves. Suffice it to say, I do not, in fact, need to take any more courses on that subject or... Honestly, I was about to say "or anything else", but frankly there are tons of things I would love to take courses on, if I had infinite time and infinite money, things I wish I had taken courses on. But I wasted several years of my life and a lot of money on philosophy, ethics and the broad panoply of "humanities" once, I'm not eager to repeat that mistake.

See? I can use simplistic logical fallacies to sound like an over-educated asshole too. I mean, it's true, I am both things, but I can sound like it, too. That's the important part. Plus I've got a bunch of things I can hang on walls and brag about while I eat my ramen noodles.

To be trying to minimize abuse, I would have to agree abuse existed in the first place. I don't. I fundamentally disagree with the foundational principle of your view of things in this regard, it seems. Or, perhaps, I would say that as the farms are supposed to operate, I don't see it as abuse. I do recognize we have some problem children, just like all online communities, but that's beyond the power of anyone to control.

You don't know that either of those things is true, though, first of all. You're making up details I didn't include. Do you think wronged people are logical and fair? No, that zit becomes "she was so ugly", that loose thread becomes "she dressed like a slob", that minor traffic slip-up becomes "he was going like a bat out of hell, I think he was drunk".

Very few people are wrong in their own minds. Only very slightly more are even able to be fair in their own minds, even when they actually are in the right.
