Is there some kind of body dysmorphic disorder variant that makes someone try to look uglier than they actually are? I really can't think of another explanation.

Once might be a mistake, but we're multiple instances into a trend here.

She honestly looks like a parody of a woman. Like a dude in drag parodying female youtube starlets. It looks like shes trying so hard to be ironic and quirky that it comes off as just plain fake. Lupa, or Allison, whatever, people attach themselves to celebrities when they feel that can relate to them, when they come across as affable and even-tempered. Otherwise people like to watch content by autistics who have encyclopedic knowledge about a certain subject.
You have neither of these traits.
You should have stuck to being the mid 2000's Big Bang Theory nerd cockteaser shtick. At least it got you somewhere. Oh wait. You nuked your own looks as well. Ho hum.

While I agree that Lupa had something in her TGWTG days, to compare her to Penny is a bit of a stretch.
 
Man when you blow up the thumbail like that you can really see she has no idea how to photoshop. What is going on with that outline made entirely of straight lines? Does she not know the pen tool makes curves?

I wonder how much it would piss her off to know that when I view her profile the little recommends box on the right serves me both Brad and Channel Awesome kek. She can distance herself all she wants but she's forever linked to them.

I don't think it's so much that they're always linked, so much as she's reminded that no matter what she does she can never destroy them and they'll always be more successful. If Brad suddenly lost all his fans and Allison magically started getting a million hits a video, then she'd probably finally let it go because she got what she wanted. But that'll never happen so she'll go into her grave pissed off about this.

Please "enjoy" these stills from her recent video. I watched this at 2x to get though it and it still felt like it wasn't fast enough. She must drone on so slowly normally. At no point did it seem like she prepared at all. She constantly flubs words, mispronounces things, and straight up has no idea what some of it is. As in both "I don't speak Japanese and idk what this says" and also "what is nori?" I'm not a fucking weeb and even I know what nori is. Girl does not put the smallest bit of research into anything. A few of the first snacks were potato chips and she keeps ripping the bags open vertically in such a cromagnon fashion. Fucking scissors how do they work? Then after she eats the chips she wipes the grease on her leg or chair every time, so ick. She also tried a few times to do that auto focus thing where a youtuber holds something up close to the camera for a better view but it still was blurry the whole time because she has auto focus turned off. Also she keeps making these gross smacking noises and talking with her mouth full almost the entire video. I think the best part is the coupon code at the end of the video is a generic coupon code. She isn't even getting a kickback from this company for plugging the product. They literally paid her in potato chips and candy. Certified bruh moment.

The Wowbox video was SO bad. I don't usually agree with everyone here that she always looks old, but here she legit looks like an old lady in weird, waxy makeup and bad beauty lighting (for some reason the way she holds her mouth made everything worse.) She definitely did no research and didn't even know what month the boxes were supposed to come out. Yet again: Not funny, not charming, and not informative. Girl you in danger.
