I think it might just be all the little differences(fuller face, eyebrows, lighting, photo quality etc.) combined make it seem like there's a big change.

Although I feel like half the time I see before/after pictures, there's always a weird quality about the afters that the befores didn't have so maybe hormones just make troons look more retarded?

Hubby makes a radical change in his life to get his own jollies heedless of what his wife and kids think or want, because he's a man and that's what we do. Wife chooses to forego her own happiness to take one for the team, because she's a woman and that's what they do. Sigh.

Trooning out without the enthusiastic consent of one's spouse is ipso facto domestic abuse, and should be prosecuted as such.
