Game of Thrones has gotten pretty bad since the show ended and Daenerys freaks are losing their shit. They're not only targeting Kit Harington's wife, Rose Leslie, for standing in the way of TWU LUV but also Sophie Turner, who a) played Jon Snow's SISTER b) is married to someone else and c) met Kit Harington when she was a literal fucking child.

Okay, okay! There's a trailer for the Fire Emblem: Three Houses newest DLC, due to be released in February. It involves four new characters, and one of them is a pretty boy named Yuri who can marry the Avatar whether as a guy or a girl...

The Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure twitter fandom decided to pull a Steven Universe and send death threats to/generally harass an artist until they attempted suicide, over fucking shipping of course. (The artist is now recovering in hospital and seems to be fine)
Apparently the oh-so problematic ship(s) in question was either Giorno/Mista (a 15 year old and 18 year old), or Tomoko/Jotaro. Tomoko is essentially one of Jotaro’s grandfather’s one night stands that ended in a kid. Jojo family trees are fucky and sprawling but I guess twitter babies screeched over it because... incest? Even though the two characters aren’t directly related but whatever these people don’t need logic.
The lead person that coordinated the attack against the artist is allegedly some 15 year old so of course there’s people whiteknighting for them because PWOTECT MINORS UWU THEY DONT KNOW ANY BETTER!
As if children don’t spend their childhood being told that being a prick to others isn’t good

It's obvious to me she was probably told by some antis that she isn't allowed to like it anymore because it fetishizes gay men. And its why I think the MLM stuff is no different from yaoi. It's the same crowd of girls getting wet over gay art. But I guess the only difference is that the art they look at isn't pornographic. What ticks me off about them is that they try to act superior by saying they "totally aren't fujos" but still exhibit the same behaviors.
They also have this weird thought process about gay couples as well and act as if being gay is all about kissing and cuddling. And when they see stories about gay people being in abusive relationships like in Killing Stalking, it breaks them. They can't fathom why anyone would want to make something like that let alone read it. The obvious problem isn't yaoi itself, but the people who take it too seriously and are obsessed with it.

I mean yeah, yaoi is trashy and unrealistic, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed to exist and that no one should like it. As long as the reader is aware it's a completely unrealistic fantasy and doesn't creep on actual gay men it's fine. Honestly yaoi isn't that different fro trashy romance novels in many ways.

This is upsetting and all, but between this, the Deku/Bakugo shipper, the Steven Universe fan-artist, the Undertale shipper getting needles in her cookies, et cetera, this is just proving that there's way too many thin-skinned kids online getting exposed to some awful shit while being unable to separate their Internet fantasies from real life. How old are these artists, anyway? I'm thinking they're just barely entering their 20s at this point (I checked, one of them is 19) but they grew up coddled and don't know how to handle confrontation. Who's been harassing them to suicide? Grown-ass womenchildren, right? The same ones who only a decade-or-so ago used to send flaming PMs to each other over their shitty fanfiction?
How the fuck did we get to this point? When did this cult mentality infiltrate fandoms?
