The guy with the Superman avatar is either mentally stunted, intentionally being dense, or a mix of both. Being called a mailman when you aren't one can't be compared to someone calling you a sexual predator or pedophile when you aren't one. Your workplace finding out you're called a mailman online won't care unlike them finding out you're being called a pedo, very likely to let you go without proof for pr reasons. You have just lost your source of income due to false statements and will probably find it hard to find other work. In this situation you would refer to yourself as a victim of defamation.

So many of these guys love to create exaggerate comparisons that in no way are similar as some sort of gotcha. Even if you pointed out that their comparisons doesn't work they would just deflect, it's like talking to a wall.

"How dare you not identify yourself as fans of Vic in a room full of people who hate Vic, so I can publicly humiliate you in front of everyone and encourage the crowd to do the same!!!"
I'm always amazed with how unprofessional these people act, calling someone who paid to get into the con a "rat" and a "coward" because they gave a negative opinion on their shitshow. My bet is she asked the crowd if they were ISWV in a very negative way, of course no one would vocalize in that situation, which started the whole panel off to a poor beginning. It's probably where people began to get up and leave, the numbers increasing as the Vic bashing continued non-stop. They basically created a toxic atmosphere that caused people to leave for a panel that should have been a roast in good fun, nothing too serious.

I feel bad for the people that were actually excited for a fun night of VA roasting among those present, instead being subjected to drunk people whining about someone not even there who can't say anything back. It also reflects quite poorly, in my eyes at least, on the con staff that was present for that panel for letting it get so bad that the room actively emptied.

Of course no one is gonna clap for AWL even if she asked them too. That is just how unlikable she is. I also wonder how many people she drove off that either didn't give a shit about the Vic situation or were even on Monica's side. It just sounded like a total disaster. I mean, you can only take so many horrible jokes about someone, even if you dislike the guy. That just goes to show that her jokes were all done in poor taste. There is no doubt that she simply ruined the fun atmosphere this was supposed to have, so she lost most of the audience. Pathetic.

I don't understand why people are arguing about false accusations not creating victims. They absolutely can create victims. I suppose it depends on the accusation, but when someone accuses you of committing some type of crime... you are indeed a victim of that accusation. Most people think of victims as someone being hurt physically, but people can he hurt and damaged in other ways too. People commit suicide over this shit and someone can say they aren't a victim? For fucks sake. People lose their jobs, money, and friendships over this stuff. If you're falsely accused of a crime it definitely makes it more difficult to obtain a new job. If a person struggles in life because someone falsely accused them of something, does that make them a victim? The answer is yes.

Aren't these fools making the same mistakes they made when they thought Vic was going to go "bankrupt" with the fees and sanctions? "Vic is going to lose because the full evidence cannot be heard". Just like how Vic was going to owe the defendants hundreds and hundreds of thousands to even millions of dollars, right? The lack of self-awareness from these idiots would be nauseating if it wasn't so funny.

Yes. It is the same mistake. They don't actually understand how they won. Nor do they understand the appeals process. Any attempts to explain will be fruitless because the foundation for the knowledge will not be there.

They listened to LawTwitter because LawTwitter gave them the answers they wanted. And now LawTwitter has been wrong about everything since the TCPA but these people refuse to see that.

I think what is going on now is a build up of a core of people who just want to win. A combination of "believe all women even if they're lying, it's for the greater good" and Sadists who like torturing people. That core won't stop and will lie what everything means to get their goal. One step worse from clout chasers and virtue signalers who will scatter when/if Vic wins.

I think we have winnowed KickVic down to the hardcore people. The people that will never be convinced no matter what evidence comes out.

You said the same thing, I just came at it as "we've shrunk KickVic" instead of "they still get followers, they're just the crazies.

I don't think it was meant to be a "roast" in the traditional sense. Amanda Win Lee has proven that she isn't all there on the best of days. She simply misused the word because that is how liberals do.

It would reflect poorly on the convention staff as well as any agents that need to defend their clients reputation. A very public display of their vindictive nature, especially against a man supposedly banned from the industry (therefore powerless to hurt them), would not sit well with people.

They are being disengenous about the word. When an action causes damage to a person, that person is a victim.

They are trying to justify their actions by claiming Vic isn't a "victim" because he didn't suffer physical damage. It is a sign of cognitive dissonance when you start tailoring the definition of words to avoid changing your world view.

From what I hear (I personally didn't go to OhayoCon, hell, I don't go to cons ever, anime or otherwise), AWL's routine was so Satan-awful, most people left and didn't bother with those Rob Mungle, Emily DeJesus, or Justin Nordell's (the latter's, I hear, was just as Satan-awful).

And yes, false accusations do indeed create victims. Aside from the usual Emmett Till comparison, the scariest thing is, Vic could've pulled an Alec Holowka and killed himself. The only consolidation from that would be that Monica, Jamie, AWL, and the rest of KV would be instantly hated just like Zoë Quinn.

Kinda funny that the harder they try to cancel Vic, the more successful he gets. Manjaw actively tried to interfere with Vic's appearance at the shop, left unfair Yelp reviews and suddenly 700 fans turn up to see Vic.

Maybe Vic's approach does work sometimes. Be positive in the face of adversity. Instead of arguing with manjaw and AWL on twitter, his fans simply showed up to meet him and had a good time.
Well there's that and then there's also the fact that the majority if not all who are opposing Vic have been shown to be liars about anything and everything.
Whether it has to do with Vic or not. They lie from a pedestal.
I'd say it's a mix of people making it known they lie & Vic's positivity that makes it hard for people to dislike Vic for any other reason than someone telling them to or them trying to score white knight points for some "women" who are about as washed up as Puerto Rico.

As we've learned from his manipulative bitch of an ex-fiancée (who is the most likely to lie about Vic), KV is guilty of everything they accuse Vic of. Pedophilia? Sarah Wiedenheft's brother. Homophobia? Schemmel and Sabat. Cheating and prostitution? Don't need to say it twice. Hair pulling? Don't take this as gospel, but J. Michael Tatum also did that to Marchi. Unwanted sexual advances? Jon Allen. And as you'd expect, the list goes on.

Tatum, Allen, if you're reading this, all I gotta say is: watch your backs. No one'll have yours, just like neither of you had Vic's.

Granted, what I know about Tatum comes from the accounts of other Kiwis, but IMO, Tatum MIGHT have some VAs defending him....because he's the pet homosexual of the group. They get rid of him, they get rid of the one guy who makes them look progressive and gives them the excuse to make "tasteful" gay jokes.

J. Michael Tatum is the VA i expected to have serious dirt in his closet. he just seems scummy. But so far nothing has popped up.

Now we all know why Chris Patton isn't, despite being a vocal supporter of CancelKavanaugh. He once said Vic was like a brother to him. Greg Ayres has always disliked Vic, but never talked about the Vic brouhaha. Not on Twitter, and certainly not at 18+ no-recording-allowed con events. And yeah, knowing Tatum's friendships with Monica and Jamie, I myself was pretty sus of the dude.

I love how you put "tasteful" in quotation marks. Because Justin Nordell joking about Chris Patton fucking Monica Rial (sorry for that mental image, everyone!) sure is deserving of that adjective.

I hate Tatum. Vic talked over and over how he was such good friends with that jerk and it was all a lie. They all used him.
We all do. Everyone pretended to be chummy with Vic, especially Tatum, Sabat, Monica, and God knows who else. Look at them now. Well, salutes to Todd Haberkorn, Chuck Huber, Reuben Langdon, and Kaelan Faire for standing with Vic. Shoutout to Alejandro Saab, Jerry Jewell, Aaron Dismuke, and Michael Sinterniklaas for getting through their roast routines without once whining about Vic.

Just like how I was sus about Tatum, I was immediately sus of Jon Allen, even as far back as 2018. He's just defending the people that actually wanna destroy him just so he can maintain relevance outside of voicing the worst ever JoJo's Bizarre Adventure character.

Are you so pathetically desperate for relevancy, that antagonizing people gives you clout from some faggots who would drop you in a heartbeat the moment they realize you're the problem? Much as Mandy likes to tote around "DURRRR VIC IS STILL FIRED!" as if it were her catchphrase on a sitcom, Vic still has more than she ever has or will.

Mandy torched her own career due to stupid ass choices because she's a drunken cunt, and failed druggie loser who cosplays as Brianna Wu with having nothing going on in her sad existence, that Ohayocon is the only place that keeps booking this cunt when everyone else blacklisted her due to her drunken escapades~ Vic still gets invites and major pull, even for a guy who has his career torched.

Mandy fell from grace because of unprofessional behavior, being a alcoholic, dancing topless in front of minors, and her antagonism toward people from EVA fans to the ISWV speds as she doesn't learn a lesson...Then again, expecting a druggie to gain intelligence or learning anything is optimistic.

Hopefully her years of substance abuse catchup this year, I know we won't lose anything worth of value from this coward.

Just the idea of Monica being sexually active is disgusting, but that particular combination is just...🤢. Nothing against Patton, I like some of his work, but both he and Monica have seen better days.

And I know squat about Allen, but I'm guessing that there's rumors of him being creepy?

Amanda are you literally incapable of not making yourself look like the biggest idiot in the room? I'm infinitely entertained at the fact that ZeroResurrected, who many of us were skeptical of due to past spedness, made a bold claim about these KV idiots doing a roast on Vic that no one was able to record and then the opposing side backed it up on accident. There was little to no evidence it happened but then AWL comes in as the gracious sped she is and provided us with all the evidence we need that Ol' Zero was telling the truth. She's confirmed the roast happened in multiple tweets and made it clear they went after Vic. Amanda you are so incompetent you're kicking the ball into your own goal and doing a victory lap.

They could've gone the whole on total radio silence - and merely admitted that some KV-laced statements were made that caused the majority of the crowd to leave.

If that were it, it wouldn't be good - but it'd still be whatever, par for the course.

Then AWL comes blundering her drunk-ass through twitter and essentially confirms the statements of a known unreliable relay of information. She did our work for us, we should send her a present.

A case of beer, perhaps?

Believe it or not, but he's actually on the broken staircase list.

Which makes him groveling at the feet of Amanda and the like extra funny. Bet he can't sleep at night, because he's so terrified that he could get cancelled any day now.
