Exceptional Haydurs Thread - Content and discussion of individuals on various platforms hating on our gorls

These people. WHY DO YOU WAIT? You don't need a specific day, or time, or have to wait because you have "too many events" coming up. Is not the purpose of losing weight to be better able to attend those events or do those things you want to do? People need to get out of this mindset that you can only begin things - losing weight, eating better, writing that book, cleaning that room - on the first of the year. Listen to me, fatties: tomorrow is promised to no one. You want to lose weight? Get your ass off social media and go take a walk. If you must post before and afters, take the before, and then take an after once a week - no more. Spend less time starting at yourself in the viewfinder off your camera and more time on the treadmill.

Even smarter yet, forgo posting your “before” until AFTER you actually lose weight, because in a year when you’ve gained 50lbs you’re just going to look like a dumbass.
If you’re serious about it, you’ll do it because you WANT to, not because you want the asspats. The only way to seriously lose weight and keep it off is to do it for yourself, because you want to.

It's ok, Charlie knows her body and we all know our bodies but Amberlynn doesn't know her body gooorl.

how much do you want to bet her going from “obese to underweight with an ED” means she went from morbidly obese to slightly less obese and her “ED” is that she feels guilty every time she “binges” on a whole pizza

That's something I've seen in a lot of fat acceptance stuff in the news - a reason given for not dieting is that trying to do so would whisk one instantly into an ED & rather than triumphantly ending up a skinny legend, an overweight person would end up a miserable anorexic staggering to their death bed. I can see a tiny percentage of people for whom that might be an issue but overall, I have a hard time buying that sort of logic. It comes across as a pre-emptive excuse.

The whole "I know my body" thing. If you truly know your body & "what works for me", why are you so overweight? Are those making that claim saying they know exactly what would be an optimal diet for them to get to a healthy weight but are deliberately choosing NOT to do that? I'll submit if they truly 'knew their bodies', they'd also intuitively know the damage they're doing & be fighting that hard.

Last point to ponder on a Sunday evening. What is so laudable about posting selfies about yourself in a size 3X from Torrid? Sure, you're smaller than AL & the rest of the 6X & larger crowd but is it really something to get ass pats for? Would it not be better & more fun to diet right out of Torrid sizing? Then you could happily post selfies of yourself in stylish clothing you can buy anywhere, just like all the "thin privileged" people.

there is a lot of overlap between "I know my body" and ALR's "what works for meee" Once again her harshest critics are more similar to her than different. Knock me over with a feather.

the funny thing about that is once you get to a certain level of obesity, your most successful way out is to replace your current eating disorder (overeating/binge eating/addiction to salt, sugar, fat/combination) with another form of disordered eating like orthorexia. Youtube chef Joshua Weissman (whomst we stan) and O2B have talked about this before. The fact is, diets don't work. Surgery doesn't work. You basically have to mindfuck yourself in an entirely different way by replacing one unhealthy mindset about food with another one. The distinction being that the ED causes you to lose weight. This isn't me promoting eating disorders or praising them, I'm just saying the bigger you get, the more extreme the approach has been for people who successfully lost and kept the weight off.

Think of it: counting kaloreeese/WW/etc work fine for people who need to lose 10lbs to fit into a dress or something. A light and breezy approach to weightloss is going to work for people already relatively light and breezy lol. But once you get up to a certain weight, and stay there, you've done pretty significant damage mentally, physically, even your DNA changes (hence higher cancer rates). So you have to adopt an extreme mentality towards weightloss or shit just isn't going to change

Once you get to a healthy weight, then you have to work on really addressing your issues with food otherwise you go careening into underweight territory or bounce back to obesitytown. It's pretty grim.

edit: grammar is hard

Does anyone have a link to that youtube vid someone did of Amberlynn in the Sims having a halloween party? Whoever created the vid was doing the voice for Amberlynn and it was pretty funny

Or you can end up getting an illness that says LOSE WEIGHT OR DISINTEGRATE from type 2 diabetes. For some people, that is the very thing that gave an obese person an "extreme mentality." Then again, a lot of them do need to realize that it took years for that weight to come on, so it will take years for it to come off.

As for the pizza thing, eh, whatever. I will, however, look for YT comments that call them on that.

For anyone stalking the Discords, this useful guide to Discord archiving tools was posted in the DSP mobile gaming whale thread:

Now I want to share some useful tools for saving Discord conversations and displaying normally hidden elements that can be helpful for our purposes.
Discord Chat Exporter is a cross-platform piece of software that allows you to export Discord DMs and channels to HTML, CSV, and TXT format easily. If there are thousands of messages, you have the option to partition the download to export by date or number of messages. I recommend downloading what you need as TXT first, and then HTML. Warning: if you download the HTML and open in a browser, the media will not load for anyone but the person logged into Discord who created the HTML file. It's advised for that person to open the HTML file in a broswer, load all the media, then save the complete webpage which will create a media folder. Then you can zip the HTML file with the media folder contents together.

Bandaged Better Discord is a cross-platform mod that allows you to enhance Discord with plugins. Some of these plugins are very useful. See attachment for a zipped folder containing all plugin files mentioned here.
  • GuildData shows you hidden stats about a Discord group (otherwise known as a Guild or Server), such as exactly when it was created, what user created it, the general region from where the creator is located in, how many group roles (permissions) there are, and a list of all the channels including those that are hidden from you. But it also allows you to export a complete list of all the members in the group in a TXT document, as well as an option to export all the custom emotes if there are any. DetailedServerTooltips is another plugin that displays much of the same information when you hover above the group icon.
  • AvatarIconViewer allows you to view and download group and member profile images as well as emotes in their original resolution. This can be useful if you want to reverse-image-search.
  • MessageLogger doesn't remove deleted or edited messages, instead it still shows the original message in red. You can set it to notify you if messages are deleted or edited, and are provided a new button that opens a catalog of all the previous deleted and edited messages.
  • Word Notifications gives you a notification when custom words are mentioned.
  • FriendNotifications and StalkerNotifications alerts you when a friend or just a regular member changes online status.
  • RemoveNicknames shows all the members as their original username, not a custom nickname they may have chosen for that group.
  • CreationDate shows when a group or member account was created. JoinedAtDate shows when a member joined a group.
  • Guild And Friend Removal Alerts gives you a notification if a group or friend has been removed.
  • AccountSwitcher allows you to map a shortcut key to quickly switch between multiple Discord accounts if you have more than one. Warning: potential security risk here, be careful.
  • ShowImageDetails shows the resolution and file-size of media posted, ReverseImageSearch allows you to quickly reverse-image search media posted. OwnerTag adds a tag in the member's list to the person who created the group.

Especially since there are already a lot of such reaction channels and they are far better than hers, I'm sure. Honestly, the ALR thing is starting to get old. The newer channels should just move on to something else and build slowly like most YTErs end up doing.

Has anyone else seen the Tater Tiara's talking about Amberlynn's Wattpad story "Hello Darling"? It begins with a clip of Amberlynn talking about how good she is at writing, before Tater Tiara goes on to review the story, in which there's a section where the main character - who's a lesbian - goes on about how the 2,000 people aboard the all-lesbian cruise ship have vaginas, and how she's excited by that. The whole story screams r/menwritingwomen.

Things you need to have a "reaction channel":
[x] Notes lol
[x] Things to say lol
[ ] Anybody at all who wants to hear the limp half-thoughts that bounce around in your empty head you vain bitch...lol

Her using "lol" as punctuation got to me, sorry.

I see can tell you watched the video. Everyone here should. It's amazing, by which I mean terrible.
tl;dw highlights:
  • She spends the whole first 30 seconds saying "ALR recently uploaded this video", then splices in the whole of Amber's video. (I hope she gets copyright struck, because that is not fair use.)
  • Through the entire reaction portion she is shifts her bulk and knocks the I-pad around trying to get comfortable on land.
  • Her notes, which she reads awkwardly, are just a list of topics in the video, most of which she has nothing to say about (14:27 to 15:30 is a whole minute of this).
  • She only sounds engaged when she is comparing herself to Amber, and needless to say the similarities outweigh (lol) the differences. Listen to the bit about weigh-ins stating at 15:40 and try to answer (a) Why would any ALR-haydurs care? (b) How is Neznamy, even in her own description, better?
  • Starting after 18:10 she goes on a weird tangent about the fact that other reactors have lives outside of their reaction channels. Is there a lot of complaining among haydurs that reaction videos are not frequent or prompt enough?
  • She ends the video so that she can go work out. :story:
New topic: This thread naturally provokes some introspection. It's been remarked several times here that a lot of Amber's haters are coping with envy of the money and attention she gets, by reminding themselves as often as possible that Amber will face terrible consequences for the very actions which earn her an audience (mainly overeating and being dumb). Now, when anonymous Kiwis mock the real-name powerlevelers of Facebook/Reddit/Discord, aren't our feelings similar? I know I am a little jealous of the freedom they feel to post shamelessly with their real identities. I'm not saying that I or any of us is a very serious and important person, but I think we all would forfeit the respect of certain people in our personal and professional lives if they could read our KF posts, and wonder what it would be like not to feel we had anything to lose.

Free speech isn't free, though. Beyond dunking on a fat girl on the internet, there are real life consequences for holding and daring to espouse political and social beliefs that land outside the approved narrative. And you'll see this on all the various Amber platforms outside KF. They've all sworn allegiance to the correct words and pantomime an approved worldview. I doubt they all sincerely hold those beliefs, but in vocalizing them publicly, it serves as an ersatz form of anonymity. No one knows who they really are or how they really think.

Do I feel "better than them"? Kind of but not really? I deeply value being able to speak as I wish and I am aware enough to know that can be actually dangerous. In the same way anyone in your life doesn't know everything about you -your sex life, your regrets, your secret desires- this >points to the internet and what we say< is analogous to that.

There is no bravery or virtue in what they or we are doing. I don't envy their brazen stupidity. They've chosen a psychological and intellectual form of anonymous safety that is dependent on public conformity to exist. We have chosen a safety that isn't dependent on public, visible conformity, but rather, personal anonymity.

No one in my life would be surprised by what I say and how I say it. But many would be surprised by what goes on in the privacy of my own mind- just like anyone would about anybody else.

I too saw the channel in question, but couldn't bring myself to watch. I don't doubt that they would like to make money on YT, but I doubt that any of them would want her life.

Yea, these people are very open and I actually admire that fearlessness, I guess. Or is it naivete? I dunno, but it must be nice to that open and trust that nothing will happen.
