Yeah, it's mostly about the "thought leaders" so to speak. As you wrote, most Fuentes fans are freshly flushed from the zoomer clone vats and lack anything resembling a bullshit detector or the requisite cynicism when dealing with politics. Sure, they might believe attending Tridentine Mass and not jerking their willy is going to save civilization but they're led by people who'll later wipe their asses with this ideology and gleefully deconstruct it with snark and irony. The question is only when this will happen.

Oh yeah, I also read that Ghoul (the gay guy from TRS who disappeared after the dust up with 8ch/pol/) resurfaced as a Tradcath. If true this only reinforces my point about that scene.

It already has. There was cannibalism from ~2015 onwards and after Charlottesville/UTR it went into full self destruction. This easily attributable to internal (gayops, various narcs and their orbits clashing) and external (spooks, feds, cognitive infiltrators) sabotage.

As @Doctor Placebo stated, the actual Alt-Right brand is dead except for some hangers on such as JF and the TDS crowd, even Dick Spencer announced he was retiring from it. The broader issue is that the Alt/dissident/fringe right is at it's core, the loser kids' table, with minimal resources surviving on doxing yourself at retarded meet-ups "grassroots" efforts and grifting to get by. I don't doubt that Charlie Kirk or Benny Johnson are as retarded as Nick or Dick, but luckily for the former, they have PR firms and insider clout to help mitigate the damage caused by their public outbursts of stupidity.

That's the real problem when assessing the alt-right. Like most iterations of the Klan, the alt-right movement is likely populated to one degree or another by Feds (Spencer being one of them). That being said, the post-Charlottesville alt-right is populated with exceptional individuals to the point where it's hard to distinguish between a spook and a sperg. I do think there are external elements within the alt-right meant to discredit it, but there goal is likely just to egg on the spergs to commit their own political suicide.

Going back to Godwinson, its hard to tell at times whether he's "memeing" or not, but it is getting tiresome to blame every alt-right person I don't like as being a Fed. I don't think Nick is that smart or clever to be an effective Fed. I just think he's a useful idiot. He says so much stupid shit that it's in the best interest of the powers that be to keep someone like him front and center. That's why he still has a platform.

Is there some reasonable and articulate non-sperg out there whose own body of work is being overlooked because people are associating it with Fuentes?

Really makes you think, doesn't it? I wouldn't go so far as to call him a plant, especially if he actually ends up getting kicked off of Youtube and other platforms. However, I do wonder if people at Discord may have had an ulterior motive for not shoah'ing his server. If your enemies are inexplicably leaving you alone, it should give you pause, to put it that way.
Nick is a Catholic. He should be familiar enough with 2 Timothy 3:12-13 to be concerned when someone isn't hounding him (especially groups like Discord or YouTube). Unless, perhaps, he isn't staying on the "godly" path.

Maybe Jared Taylor. Maybe. But given that he doesn't Jewbait and was deplatformed early, he'll likely never gain any level of leadership in the movement.

The problem isn't Fuentes, per se. He's merely a symptom. The problem with white-oriented movements in America is that they can't help but return to the well that isolates them from the mainstream and fulfill every stereotype that the Left has of them. The use of Nazi symbolism, Holocaust denial, playing "name the (((JEW)))," being made up of Wignats and overall degenerates - all of these factors guarantee that the alt-right will be nothing more than a cesspool of spergy /pol/tards. It seems that the "optics" crowd thinks that by putting on a suit and LARPing as a BoomerCon while Jewbaiting is somehow going to make alt-right/dissident right/what have you more appealing to the mainstream. It's about the same as putting lipstick on a pig.

I think a movement advocating for white interests - however that's defined in 21st century America - could, in theory, work, given how insane the current Left has become. However, that's going to be long time before anything like that happens.

Agreed 100%. Every race-centered movement the right wing has tried has been variations of the same failed movements that came before them. For some reason they can't talk about issues with mass immigration and demographic changes without eventually sperging about the jooos and """ironically""" invoking the Third Reich. Even though (by right-wing standards) Fuentes has had better optics than some of the more autistic members of the alt-right he still seems to fall into the same pitfalls.

Nick and his crowd think that good "optics" is just looking presentable and not being seen sieg hailing or with swastikas. If you suggest to them that maybe autistically ranting about Jews 24/7 is counterproductive to their goals you can straight up melt their brains.
