A lot of them (aside from regulars doing it for the memes) are furries signing up to drop dirt on other furries. It's not a shock either, as furry run sites critical of the fandom like CrushYiffDestroy or Vivisector either died or (in the case of the latter) crashed and burnt to the ground. Kiwi Farms is more like Portal of Evil in the sense that it tries to discuss eccentrics online from a more neutral (and non-furry) perspective, even if the eccentrics like ulillillia and troll magnets like CWC got replaced with drama whores on social media.
There's a reason this subforum is popular among the same furries who call this site a tranny doxing ground. They will go here to get the latest scoops on furry drama, down to reposting the same exact screencaps sourced here to Twitter.
It's pointless in this day and age as well considering how furries have a tendency to powerlevel everywhere. Go on Twitter and it's guaranteed that every furry you see will either self declare this or will set their Twitter icon to their fursona.
