Nikkie is a actually the anti-thesis of everyone is literally trying to kill us when you think of it. Up until this point he was just living his life. Most people will leave you alone so long as you behave yourself, don't act like a psycho, and don't do creepy shit which is why it was possible for Nikkie to go on living their life- even if people were clocking him or getting the feeling something was 'off'. The voice is probably a giveaway but I think a lot of people let a lot of things that were 'weird' or 'off' slide because he was foreign and the accent was enough to hand wave that the voice was off, if he'd been American no way that is kept silent for this long.
The camps for Nikkie fall into totally blinded sided and I always knew something was off but didn't know what.
People probably did clock him or got the tell tale tingle that something wasn't right from the sheer size of him. I never watched him for that reason, and the 50lbs of $$$ in every look, I didn't immediately go troon as I never met them in person but something was off - I said in the beauty guru thread; I saw xsparkage meet Nikkie and my brain went 'something's wrong there, not sure what but something' women are almost never linebacker size. It's not just because she's insanely tall. It's because she's tall, shapeless in the hips and chest, broad shouldered, giant hands, incredibly heavy makeup and addicted to plastic surgery at 25. Plastic surgery that doesn't even look good. Most high fashion models are tall but they're still feminine, Nikkie is not.
That said. The only benefit 'early transition' seems to have given them is not having obvious beard shadow and no obvious adam's apple- which could still be the result of surgery and procedures. The only reason Nikkie wasn't known to be trans is because most people were probably too polite to ask or bring it up as he's a tolerable person. He still talks and behaves more like a gay man, especially so when you consider this. He still has the absolute tank of a body of a man with a great deal of surgical alteration. So it didn't seem to help.
Nikkie has always been kind of removed from the community, again the foreigner aspect being used to his advantage but I do feel a little for him in this situation. Only because he's been 'a woman' for as long as he's been on youtube but now he's got the label of 'trans', no no longer is he a female. He's a man who lied, a trans woman, and with that comes all the little troons who're going to use his name in arguments. If there's one audience you probably don't want to pick up it's Transanity and co. as they don't bring money only grief.

I disagree, the whole "blackmail" thing seems like utter bullshit to me, perhaps an excuse to suddenly come out. He's had an huge positive reaction, so why not? (Also what kind of blackmail could you have over a trans person that's WORSE than being trans?)

The only HSTS that pass well are asians because a lot of asian men naturally have feminine features. They also tend to get more natural looking surgeries, compare that with the western troons who get all these enormous butt shots and boob implants along with wearing drag queen-esque makeup which makes them easily clockable.

The funny thing is I've seen Nikki get "called out" by beauty guru gossipers for "appropriating gay/drag culture". That sort of gay male affect is pretty common with a lot of beauty gurus so Nikki sounding like that never really raised an eyebrow for me. I just thought "this giant linebacker of a Dutch woman is just another fag hag".

My work is related to the beauty industry so I probably see a lot more than I would otherwise. Mostly it's teen girls/early 20's women I see doing this really heavy handed drag look as a daily face. Stacked lashes, full contour, wigs/hair extensions, plus using a lot of gay slang and mannerisms.
