This is the type of thing that makes me think I'm losing my fucking mind. It is the internet. SA regulars have to know that both they AND the forums do not fucking matter in the slightest. We are talking about a goddamn comedy forum that has been extant for two decades and is so archaic and outmoded that core functions of the board just straight up do not work and cannot, apparently, ever work, because Lowtax loves two things above all others: losing money (and, now, custody) in messy e-public divorces, and hiring terrible backend administrators who incidentally also love stealing money. The only actual value SA has or had at any point in its history is to fucking retards like me - sentimental value, that is to say, which is basically the same thing as "valueless." Lowtax has never been able to leverage SA into anything other than Vice articles and enabling his addictions and that isn't an accident. It's that SA basically has no intrinsic value.
If you were a complete outsider lacking the context necessary to understand this, the language being used by the retards involved in this most recent drama would be both breathtaking and baffling. There are people talking about Nazi spy infiltration conspiracies and the culture wars and systemic oppression of marginalized peoples because one dead gay subforum filled with idiots who thought they could define the comedy on this worthless forum (FYAD) got into the world's most boring slapfight with another group of screeching morons who define "oppression" as a six-hour posting break and are enraged that someone might make fun of them, and thus also think they define the comedy on this worthless forum. It is a never-ending traincar pileup of literal Joke Police, and the involved parties are so motherfucking ridiculous that they almost defy actual ridicule.
Like, think for a moment about who the craziest people in this sordid affair actually are. The self-segregating TGRS martyrs who unironically scam posters out of money in the name of keeping minority heads up, whatever that fucking means, and have "sundowner" threads, and revel in the online ghetto they themselves created? Or is it the old rejects who couldn't hack it on weird twitter posting inane in-jokes at each other while simultaneously seriousposting in QCS about which grey forums are and aren't funny? No, wait, maybe it's the wildly over-represented trans community who not only post like CascadeBarney does, but also e-publicly thank that retard for their service like they're a veteran returning from a fucking war. It could be Extremely Online lefties who think that posting "white people are THE WORST" will scrub off the stink of their suburban upbringings so that they can more pedantically explain how the world really works to the unwashed masses. You could vote for the unpaid volunteer admin and moderation team, filled with people so paralyzingly desperate for a fraction of attention or power that they will cave in to any or all of the above groups at a moment's notice so that someone, anyone might actually like them, even if only briefly, even if only disingenuously. Actually it's definitely Lowtax himself, who put his faith in such paragons of stability as shmorky and ZDR and any number of ugly ex-wives and has been successfully run off of his own forum owing to both a figurative and literal (if you believe his contemptible e-begging) lack of a spine.

Come for the overwritten Zack Parsons front page articles and postin about shit nobody cares about with your pals, but stay for the drama acted upon by retards as if they're describing the fucking End Times!
