Arin Hanson / Egoraptor / Grump - "Hey I'm Grump!" of Game Grumps fame, hypocritical SJW doxer, shat himself recording a let's play

Looks like Arin is going to try and play Soviet Jump game today, I'm not going to play it but if anyone is interested go for it.

Wouldn't be shocked if he's just saying that so more people go to play it in the hopes of playing with their idol (seriously - watch the player count reach peak numbers during the times he says he'll be playing).

This’ll be one of the few times Arin can complain about the game being at fault and be correct

Arin - shit talking the game he produced? Surely, you jest!

I wanna bet if he’ll still pretend it’s a real Dendy game

Arin used Twitter periscope to tell people to play Soviet Jump Game already. He says they’re testing out private servers, which only he has access to at the moment.
He’s streaming himself playing this piece of shit.

Why not play with your fans, Arin? That's, like, such an obvious thing to get people playing...

So, he isn't playing with the fans; just playing as they watch? (I only ask because you mention he's on a server that he says only he has access to).

And is a fan of unicorns. Speaking of which...

Human proportions, where? Even for a tall/lanky look, this is a bit exaggerated. Also...that head is insanely small for such a body that size.

'Big Cat' doesn't look too bad, though - Arin's just not that muscular, and he's hardly a tiger. A fat, tempermental housecat would be a far better fit for him.

Don’t insult fat housecats. They’re more visually appealing than Arin. And they don’t sound drunk when they criticize their least favorite games.

So for half an hour Arin played with a Grump on Soviet Jump then decided to play with his fans.
edit: this is inaccurate. There seems to be one or two players playing with them in the beginning. Skimming through, you really can’t tell since there’s no one playing with them. Many were complaining that Arin gave the code to join too late so that’s probably why there’s barely anyone in the beginning playing with them

They played I believe four matches on their private server and then ended the stream.

Oh and we also learned that the discord for Soviet Jump had the wrong link on the Soviet Jump website so no one could join. Which means the way they’ve been asking people to send their complaints for game issues wasn’t possible til now (not like they didn’t see the steam reviews though)

The stream ended with less than 350 viewers. This was one of the worst self-advertising I’ve seen for one of their games yet.

I didn’t watch all of it, but I remember in the beginning Arin said something along the lines of “it’s one of the funnest games I’ve ever played!”
Christ, I even saw one steam review earlier in the thread that just said “I never have any idea what’s going on, but it’s fun!”

So, how successful was this “play with Arin” event?

...154 players. There were more people watching the stream then actually playing the game, or considering the launch-day peak of 315, more people were watching the stream than have ever played the game at the same time.

Soviet Jump Game is already an absolute failure.

It’s only early access guys don’t worry. It’s a shame the game had to die, Arin marketed the game perfectly!

Well, clearly - if it fails, it's due to people not being able to take a joke/recognizing Arin's marketing genius/scaring off potential players wth fake negative reviews and not because the game is shameless cash grab (microtransactions) disguised as a poorly developed Super Mario Bros knock.

He just will not let that 'joke' die, will he?
Sorry for repeating myself, but the CD-I Zelda (one of the sidescrollers) their "...You must die!" and the "dad?" from their Guts 'n Glory is the most grating, unfunny repeat till' it's funny schtick, especially the "dad?" one since it's basicly the same joke and carries over multiple episodes. When my epic Ninja-movie galore project is done i might do a supercut to prove my point...

Unless someone else is up to the task.... Dad? :cringe:

"No guys he's REAL buy my uncles book, but also don't buy it because he's a bad person!"
What could he possibly mean by this 🤔.
If you read between the lines, take his words and run them through 7 decryptors, follow the clues, and solve the case of Jack the ripper; he has no idea what hes doing is dumb and is just plowing forward with his shitty idea because obvious if you smash your skull against a wall long enough you'll break through.

That "Dad?" joke has been going on for years hasn't it? How could "comedians" not tell when an already unfunny joke is LONG dead.
