1 being neutral. No smell at all.

Chris does critical thinking about as much as he jogs. He doesn't even really vilify the idea guys because they never actually did anything he would consider bad to him (telling him reality exists etc.) You can steal from chris and abuse his fantasies all you want but as long as you enable his fantasies then you're cool in his book. All that matters to chris is he has delusional escapist fantasies to help him ignore the crushing weight of reality, anything else is a non-issue. It's why he's such an easy target, all you have to do is enable him. He's not responsible enough to decide if someone is using him or not.

When Bob died Chris quit producing quality content for years. He went into isolation for a long while. I think Bob was the main catalyst in Chris not being as delusional as he is now all the talk of “many arguments”, some of it probably comes from not wanting to talk about fucking Cartoons and shit on TV. With the isolation period and then suddenly kind of re-emerging Chris was already pretty detached from reality and had no way to ground himself. Slopes just become increasingly slippery ever since.

That anecdote always struck me as being totally made up, though. Aside from the fact that it was a third-hand account, I don't think even Chris is dumb enough to take someone's money and walk out of a store without paying.

It also seems rather odd to me that someone would just front him the two dollars instead of just telling him to get the fuck out of the line and quit wasting time. Is this something Americans often do? The usual convention here in the UK is just to pay with your bank card if you don't have enough money on hand, or alternatively just put the stuff back and leave with nothing, not to stand there humming and hawing until someone else pays for you.

I'm sure you have some kind of government social stipend for certain people where ever you live. Here in the U.S. impoverished/disabled people are given money to get by. IDK about %50 of this is legitimate? and helps those who cannot help themselves, the truely needy. The rest (like chris), spend on things that are not neccisary at all to live. Chris spends US tax dollars on video games, porn, toys etc. Not that shocking he'd take a strangers money. It's one of the many reasons why I follow chris, he's great example why heavy handed socialism never works. To me chris exists to be the example of whats wrong with the US male populace. Useless,entitled,naive,gender issues... I could go on forever. I've learned to just enjoy the show and laugh when he says "I'm a tough fighter", and then curls up on the floor and cries after being kicked out for sexually assaulting people.

Full disclosure If not for the 3rd party accounts of chris like the KB toys sweepstakes, newspaper stories and "crazy pacer" story I would beleive Chris is fake and "this" is the most dedicated, eleaborate long-con trolling endeaver in the history of the internet.
