Honestly, and I say this without trying to blow it out of proportion, but the only real way Chantal is going to make and stick to any changes to her diet is if she is housed somewhere where she can get 24-hour supervision. So, it’s not going to happen. The real issue with her eating is that it’s secret eating. Sure, she’ll have a car mukbang with Peetz or eat for three in front of her family. But those people don’t then go on to see her hit up the three drive-throughs afterward. Those are for us. And then there’s the even more secret eating she’s admitted to, the pizza boxes in her closet, entire bags of chips, all the food that mysteriously goes missing from her pantry and fridge that we don’t hear about until months later when she feels like doing a confession video. I’m sure there’s more eating even than that.
The main thing, though, is that she hates being or feeling watched. That’s where the “shh!” tic and the shifty eyes come in. The only way she will he shamed with someone watching her is if she has someone watching her 24 hours a day.
And there’s also the issue that she on her own has no willpower. She literally needs someone else to slap the food out of her hands. But most deathfats don’t get this way alone. They have enablers. Or they manipulate people around them, or they’re shitty unless they’re placated with food. I honestly would love to see a saga of her ham-fistedly trying to manipulate a 24-hour career into something that’s not on a doctor approved diet and I would love to see the chimp-our when she realizes she can’t get what she wants when she’s already had everything she needs.
Never gonna happen, even though it would be best for her health and would give us great content. That’s the only way to do anything for her. Even an “intervention” won’t work. Nothing short of literal 24-hour supervision, like doctors order for brain-damaged people, will stop her. And to me that just goes to show how goddamn delusional she is. That the only way she can do anything to save her own life is if she’s treated like she’s a rêtard or a child.
