Cute aggression might not seem like much but I've always viewed it as a massive red flag.
I understand not liking something because it appears to be so squeaky clean and pure and simperingly wholesome and all that rot but when the physical desire is there to tear down and abuse every small cute thing there is, it shows that an individual doesn't really have room in their heart to protect small, fragile innocent things. I wonder if Sam's gf wants kids some day. If so, I hope she realizes that kids are part of the package. There's a lot of sappy cute shit involved with them and a lot of kowtowing to keep them entertained. A puppy or a kitten would be the same way. In order to properly raise or take care of any of these things, you need to make sure your partner understands there is a dire need to protect and keep this innocent baby thing safe. People who seem to fetishize the idea of destroying vulnerable, cutesy things spells bad news all over.
Does Sam have a fetish for being sociopathic? Other than the dragon and Hyzenthlay, I have yet to see any real compassion from him or any of his other characters.

This sounds terrible. So when Bob died, he was feeling the pain in slow motion? This makes that scene even worse. Also, why would you destroy his crayon drawings? Bob reminds me of a little baby.
Speaking of babies, I’m not sure how much they can comprehend love compared to little kids. That said, innocence like this can still feel pain or experience abandonment. I don’t know why Fennah hates Bob so much.

Bob didn't even do anything wrong. What, he loves everyone unconditionally regardless of what they've done? What a monster. Kids do the same exact fucking thing. They can't classify shit because they're kids. They will love anyone that's nice to them.

The whole Bob thing just makes me so fucking pissed off. Call me a sensitive faggot, but I absolutely can't stand bad shit happening to cute things or cute animals. It just provokes a really upset reaction in me that is almost visceral.
I haven't watched any of the Bob content because I don't think I could stand it. What's the need for such a thing?

As for the "metaphor" behind Bob - first of all, he's clearly never known anyone with a drug or an alcohol problem. Secondly, if you have to explain the metaphor to your entire audience because literally everyone failed to "understand" it and just saw it as a pointless murder of a cute fishy - then it isn't a metaphor. Like Chris-Chan and his "random-access humor"; if you have to explain to everyone what you mean about the Stone Age, or why you are mentioning Nantucket, it isn't a joke.

I went and read the various autistic profiles on the wiki but now and then a character pops up here who I don't recognize. I'd really like Fennah to explain how that's not sexual, please.

I absolutely agree. There's killing cute things in comedic ways in your work because you want to be a shitlord like Jhonen Vasquez was with his work, and then there's this. Since everyone here seems to love Bob I decided to doodle a little something to help aid as a palette cleanser after watching Fennah graphically murder this wholesome fish child. Please excuse my horrible attempt at drawing the Kiwi Farms logo.
