Nick hangs around with a lot of internet personalities. For example, he hangs out with Patrick Casey of American Identity Movement despite living hundreds of miles away and Patrick not being that well known. Another example would be Steve Fransen, which he has hung out with multiple times despite living states away.

I think this whole lolisocks debacle is just stupid speculation because Nick has a history of hanging out with obscure internet personalities that live thousands of miles away. Originally, lolisocks came to the United States to hang out with his girlfriend, but it didn't work out between them, so instead lolisocks had some down time and probably got into contact with Nick and they decided to hang out before lolisocks flight back to Australia.
