Well, I mean, in the actual comic he does have a hatred towards "land dwellers" for polluting the oceans and what not. Here's the page by the way: See? As a matter of fact, it's stated on his very introduction page that he wants to kill all land dwellers, which could be interpreted as low to midblood trolls. Pardon my spergery.

But I do see how him talking about gender could be OoC, he never really talks about it in the comics themselves. Plus, gender wasn't really that much of a theme in Homestuck.

To think about it, "gender is fake" is a double edged sword. If gender is fake, then none of these identities mean anything. Plus, "gender" also often used to refer to anything socially constructed around sexes, aka gender roles and stereotypes.
I'm pretty sure that they intended to make him a troon supporter (judging from the screencap, I didn't read the episode yet), but with "gender is fake" and him being quite feminine yet still not trooning out, it gives the impression of things being the other way round. Quite ironic.

Also as for pesterquest... I 100% think most of the troll routes were retarded as fuck. Someone on the HS writing team really doesn't get that edgy genocide humor doesn't work well when paired with SJW pandering.

Only the rich can afford six figures to get degrees in absolutely worthless subjects of no use outside of academia. They routinely express contempt for the working class, especially any job filthy, disgusting males might work at. Work is beneath them.

I think you're reaching a little here, I think it's more like the artist they got for this draws in a more animu-esque style than Homestuck's norm, and in a lot of anime even men are drawn with girly faces and eyelashes.
