I'm saying that alone could happen to responsible parents, which is why the cops didn't immediately take the kids into custody. Greg and Taylor obviously are not responsible parents, and I hope the law catches up with them.

See the problem with CPS/DCFS/DYFS and other variations of the same agency is that they're usually ran by the county or state and vary greatly. They're often underfunded and over worked and last I checked, a case worker isn't a protected title. Some have a MSW and others have an associate's in history.

Just about every single agency, no matter the county or state, has an end goal of reunification if at all possible, even if it's to the child's detriment. They will try everything to keep families together before ripping them apart, even if it's well deserved. There's so much bureaucracy and politics involved that I wouldn't even know where to start. Further, a CPS agency that operates in say, San Bernadino County, is going to have better funding and a different set of issues than say, the CPS agency in Alameda which services Oakland and other underprivileged areas. Ive even seen agencies remove children from a parent or parents that are homeless in one county, while another county won't remove the children as long as they're getting food and an education.

I haven't looked into Pierce County, but I'm assuming it has its own set of unique issues. I sure as fuck wouldn't want to be a CPS case worker because at the end of the day, they only have placement for a certain amount of children and really, how do you pick between the kid that's clothed, fed and beat, or the kid that's ignored, malnourished and living in a shit hole? I know CPS workers get alot of hate, but fuck I'd rather be unemployed than have to make the decisions they have to make multiple times throughout the day.

One correction. The window wasn't in the baby's room, it was in the older boy's room. The baby left her room, got on her brother's bed and fell out her brother's window. The headboard in the baby's room wasn't able to be climbed on like that.

I like how the Hansen mods are throwing themselves on their swords while simultaneously pointing at Vincent and saying it's all his fault. Chris Hansen said the laptop was going to the FBI. If he was in contact with the FBI why didn't he make sure it got to them? Because he isn't in contact with the FBI., he was bluffing to churn views by suggesting all that, and he was lying to the girl about why he was taking her laptop. He handed it to some creepy unpaid flunky (along with the password the girl gave him I'm sure) and told him to check and see if it had any good naked pictures on it. Then he didn't even bother to check to make sure the laptop was returned. Everyone in this whole drama is hitched to a glorious burning dumpster fire named Onision and they're all covered with flaming garbage. It's a wagon train of fail. There's no white knight here. Only a bunch of people all out for themselves but falling all over themselves.

Hansen gave the laptop to Vincent knowing he was a creep. What does that say about him?

I think they are both going to fade away. Hansen isn't going to be satisfied making chicken feed on YouTube. He wants that big check NBC sent him every week again. The only relevant person that could fit that role would be Skye, but she understandably took her leave from this shitshow and it’s not her or anyone else’s responsibility to wrangle these girls.

To be fair, learning that valuable evidence was mishandled and contaminated by someone you trusted would upset anyone, and I don’t blame Sarah for her tweets about it even if she did delete them and was extremely vague. She is technically an adult sure, but you can’t expect a 19 year old girl (especially one going through what she is) to never vent her frustrations on social media. You would be hard pressed to find any teenage girl today who hasn’t made vague, dramatic venting posts online.

The actual adults who swore to help her and other victims receive justice and closure should be the ones getting criticized for their irresponsible and ret.arded online behavior a la Vincent, not the younger victims who are exhibiting normal behavior for their age/current situation, even if it looks immature or ridiculous to others.

As a YTer they dont have that reach anymore, so I dont think the cops care to be involved.
He may be Chris Hansen, but hes not a team of lawyers and producers like he was on NBC. Working with him would likely compromise the investigation.
They may be big fans, but involving Hansen in their investigation is as likely as them involving us.

My tinfoil theory is Vincent kept the laptop because he wanted to be the one to find all the information and leak the story himself rather than handing it over the the FBI. The problem is, he doesn't have the tools or tech knowledge that the FBI has, so he couldn't find anything. I only hope he didn't fuck up the laptop or phone in the process. It wouldn't surprise me if he has a copy of everything he could find so he can use it as fap material or blackmail (if he's as retarded as he seems to be).

Does Sarah actually have her things back now or was she just told they'd been shipped to her? I wouldn't put it past Vince to say he sent it and just keep everything to use as a bargaining chip.
