Hahaha shit he uses Blender exclusively?? No shade on being self-taught in Blender, it's a fantastic open source software with a huge toolset, but it's not taken seriously by many professionals and not used in any production houses of note. He's not going to be desirable to many places if he's not willing to throw a few bucks down or pirate to learn the basics of Maya/3ds Max/Substance Painter/ZBrush/Cinema 4D/Houdini/I won't go on I've made my point. This really is expected even at entry level and - surprise! - the basics of all of these are taught at school. A new program isn't something you can pick up overnight, and Blender is a particularly bad starting point as its open-source nature has turned it into a weird bastardized hybrid whose UI is quite different to other 3D software. If he wants to be hireable at all (which I'm not sure he does, which seems-short sighted) he's going to have to put on his big boy pants and give other products a try.He uses Blender for all of his animating. I'm not sure whether we nailed that fact down earlier in the thread or not, so I'll drop the relevant tweet here anyway:

“@KairooSays Hi! I use Blender for my animations, it's free and extremely versatile. I started learning how to animate about 4 years ago. I did not attend any institution and am self taught. All you need is a little perseverance! https://t.co/n6c5fdRpu5”twitter.com
