The problem with any kind of political movement in the west that's openly for the interests of white people is that most of the first wave people to jump on it inevitably end up being wignats, which alienates more mainstream people on the right, many of whom might otherwise agree that there's a lot of anti-white bias and agenda pushing that needs to be countered, but also know associating with wignats is fatally toxic. This leads the leaders of such movements to either pander to the wignats for support and money, and become living strawmen for the left who damage their cause more than help it, or try to push the wignats away, which leads to their movement floundering before it gets off the ground and languishing in obscurity as the wignats turn on them and they get no support from Conservative Inc, which is basically just libertarianism with more cop and military bootlicking and Zionist interventionism at this point. That's the thing, and I've hung out in far right chats before and the whole Nazbol/Third Positionist thing is full of wignats. So from a branding standpoint, you don't want to be aligned with people who unironically think Anders Brevik was a superhero. I'm pretty keyed into what Nick talks about and the real issue is he's caught between worlds and is walking a very, very thin line. It's very easy to talk about this shit and attract literal white terrorists, although at this point they all seem to think he's a fed mongrel owned by Jews so he probably doesn't need to be that worried. According to wignats everyone is compromised but many of them are literally virgin teenagers.
Fuentes had a rare opportunity to pull himself out of this hole in the immediate aftermath of the Groyper War when he was getting a chance to network with people like Michelle Malkin, but he's too much of an exceptional child who couldn't stop le edgy ironic memeing and clean up his image a bit. It was worth it for the superchats and catboy lovin' though, I guess.
