I'm 99% sure the account belongs to Phil but here is a psn account that looks to belong to a brit. I sent it a message about WWE Champions but he doesn't seem to be active.

Phil's PSN has always been darksydephil, I think. More likely is that this was someone who made the account to troll at some point.

Edit: As seen here, his profile is private: https://psnprofiles.com/DarksydePhil

As someone who occasionally whales on gacha (maybe 200 on FGO and a cool 100 on majsoul waifus over the years), Phil's terminology when he talks about gacha games is consistent with more than a casual fan.

Considering the hilariously low drop rates WWE games use, like other people have said he's dropping bank staying competitive. Its the reason I dont play pvp games, they suck you in trying to rank well and that always comes down to $$$.

Phil needs event wrestlers, but also all of them upgraded, you can't just stop when you finally get Hulk Hogan you gotta get tons of extra wrestlers and items to level hulk hogan. If the game works the way I think it does to rank in events you have to splash for extra refills on the timer bar, since you can't rank just waiting for your energy to refill.

I would guarantee this motherfucker has 1 tap pay set up and uses it liberally whenever the game asks him to. Those $4.99 refills add up fast.

Does anyone know if the game has limited/guaranteed pulls? Usually gacha have them where you pay some absurd price (FGO it's about $30) to get a guaranteed 5 star or equivalent. Something tells me WWE would be pricier just based on how miserly the gacha rates are.

some events have tokens/special currency you can earn to roll for wrestlers

some wrestlers require monthly subscriptions to even use

some are just straight "pay money for virtual currency to roll for different lootboxes"

you can buy specific wrestlers during special promotions but 9 times out of 10 they are nowhere near meta

talking about meta, they just release crit chance/damage and dodge chance, so there's a whole new reason to grind to be the very best

You know, it occurs to me that for the amount of money Phil spent on JPEGs of wrestlers, he could've met the actual wrestlers many times over, and come away with their personally autographed sweaty underwear.
He could probably even buy dates with pro wrestlers if he'd settle for one that's not a top-tier celebrity.

He could have bought himself front row centre seats to pretty much every PPV. Would have at least made a chance from having to look at that dick in the green face t-shirt.

I guess I should have worded my post different. I'm 99% sure that the WWE account is Phil but I was giving an example of someone else using his twitter handle. Meaning it's slightly possible the wwe account could be someone else.

Phil could have fucked Sunny a few hundred times.

Had a TIHYDP on in the background and came across this gem, Phil warns people about the evils of pay2win microtransactions in video games (timestamped)

"There is a major problem with gaming and the human condition if we think that dropping money into an endless black hole is better than buying a game that's a significant work of art.... people that systematically dump a ridiculous amount of money into it, they got something wrong up here, they are addicted to it, they need help to realise what they are doing is a waste of their time and there's many other gameplay experiences out there that are better... That doesn't mean spend your life fucking savings on the game... This is insane to me, you know what I mean, like I would never drop that much money into a game like that, thats just nuts but people are doing it... that's just fucking crazy to me dude *snort*"

He said this in August 2019 so the King of Hypocrisy probably fired up WWE Moneypit as soon as his stream was over

Can see this as a way to shield himself from being accused of this mobile addiction if he talks about how bad it is, so he would never do such thing.
Good find.

Can apply this to a lot of things he's got on his soapbox about.

Actually, there is a very simple reason why Phil cannot ever attend any WWE event in real life. He might run into a certain detractor...
