I like how Hansen asks why Vincent had the laptop. He said he was going to give it to Vincent on one of the livestreams! What local and federal investigations? Every time there's a 911 call to Onion's house and a policeman asks questions, does that count as a local investigation? Who is currently investigating him? The Sheriff? The FBI? Land Management? Why would law enforcement have multiple investigations going on at the same time? Wouldn't they consolidate them? I don't think there are any ongoing investigations. If there were, why would they let Hansen run roughshod all over their case?

If Hansen actually read the report closely, it mentions several closed investigations due to lack of evidence. He took the log of 19 911 calls/wellness checks over the past year as criminal investigations when they were just calls and wellness checks. I love the dude, and I appreciate the energy, but critical reading is a must.

The report did mention an open FBI investigation though, so there's still that whether the laptop was given to the FBI or not. I imagine they're investigating the copious amounts of underage photos shared on the Onision forums and the known pedophile userbase attracted to them, along with the allegations from victims.

I bet every time someone on the internet calls insisting on a wellness check because of the latest freakout video, some poor cop has to fill out a form that says "Investigation Notes" at the top. He trudges out to the swamp shack. They tell him they're fine and he files the report. That is what Hansen is talking about. I bet the mention of the FBI investigation is the same. They hear about underage girls crossing state lines. They call the local Sheriffs office. "Have you had any complaints?" The Sheriff tells them about the crank calls and weird you tube videos and the FBI rolls their eyes, fills out a form and moves on. There's another investigation for Hansen.

Sugarcummies, the FBI wouldn't notify the sheriff's office if they were closing a case for lack of evidence. The sheriff's office has no way of knowing if it's ongoing or not -- just that the FBI called asking questions once. And the girl was told that her laptop was in New York and had never been sent to the FBI.

What matters is ONGOING investigations. To my knowledge there's no evidence of that. And if there was, they would be mad at Hansen for contaminating the evidence and interfering with potential witnesses. But every time Hansen says something, the anti-O's line up to believe it unquestioningly.

What the fuck did I just try to listen to? I doubt Grug is "holding" Lainey "against her will" in the traditional sense. I do get the impression that she's terrified of leaving him, but I think that has more to do with Lainey being a fucking idiot than Grug holding her hostage. She's probably been convinced that she's damaged goods and that he's the best she'll ever be able to get in this life.

Before Chris Hansen I seriously underestimated how bad Onision was. I did try to look him up, but most of his A-logs on youtube couldn't explain it beyond "Onision said something retarded. He is awful! and I can't stand him. Don't forget to like and subscribe!" So I figured he was just an attention-seeking asshole and didn't bother to dig deeper.

Boy was I wrong. I had no idea people were dealing with a textbook narcissist that literally attempted to jumpstart a cult. If people weren't after him online, he would've easily made something like that NXIUM cult( wich was basically a sex cult).

So Yeah. Hansen is definitively doing good by making it more mainstream.

Also, I want to add that those people asking for a Content Cop on Onison were being retarded. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying he didn't deserve being roasted, and maybe it could happen, but honestly, Idubbbz would be a poor choice to put your faith for someone to deal with Onision for good.

Onision didn't need someone to just make fun of him or his content like in a CC, but someone that actually put him on sight of the FBI and let the victims speak up... Kudos on Chris Hansens for doing it.

I will say, there's always the chance that doesn't mean shit. I'm optimistic but...
federal cases could relate to the wetlands, and even potentially the IRS keeping their eye on him after his misstep with taxes.
Local investigations are likely just the cops keeping an eye open because of all the spergs calling in and REEEing all the time. They're probably legitimately worried and actively digging on him.

Shiloh did mention speaking with FBI so there's still hope, if you can call her a reliable source. Unfortunately few of the players in this story are.
