The CCP's overindulgence with using cutesie anime-inspired characters to represent their security forces is fucking funny. There's nothing funnier than passing through customs and seeing an Immigrations officer standing next to one of those signs, because they all look like they'd shoot themselves in the face if they'd give them guns.

Sino-weebs aside, the coronavirus is starting to spread into areas where my in-laws live. None of them know anyone sick, but they're starting to freak out. If the CCP says something is fine then it's probably a little bad. If the CCP is saying it's a little bad, it is probably the Sixth Trumpet of Armageddon.

Having visited a Chinese hospital once, I kinda feel for the people trying to get the fuck out. I wouldn't trust my well-being in a majority of the unkempt hospitals over there. I'm sure their isolation procedures are completely fucked.

Why are they so adamant on spreading the virus? Lunar holidays and coincidental timing aside, they seem way too happy about this at the thought of spreading it. Its creepy.

And that one going to France too: What a cowardly piece of shit. It feels weird to be under this from China of all things, cucked place or not.

So basically before the 17th, Wuhan's government didn't care too much until Beijing decided to intervene. A festival gathering of 40,000 families was allowed, families by the way, not people. For people, that would be easily 200,000, since the Chinese family isn't just parent and child.

I can see many heads rolling, the mayor and higher ups of the department of health are definitely getting the sack. So instead of responding swiftly, they've decided to block journalists from HK and arrest some people for spreading so called rumours. Great.

Airport in Kansai region of Japan identified tourist from Wuhan having a fever and coughing, he was sent to the hospital in Osaka and then ran away. Said that the hospitals have no rights to hold him there if he refuses to be checked.
It's mostly outrage on Chinanet, people are talking about how these escapees lack any moral compass whatsoever and are better just being dead.

Kids had a fever at the airport and was told that they won't be allowed to get on, parents throw a massive tantrum, saying stuff like "but we don't have a fever". They were being public nuisances, and ended up getting onto the plane, abandoning their couple of kids.

Yeah as anypony who has ever read my periodic spergings bout Ebola whenever it comes up in the news knows, bats are like the ultimate freakin poz-holes of the animal kingdom when it comes to nasty-ass viruses which is why as much as I love the lil animals, they are up there with poisonous spiders in my personal "admire from a distance but DONT FUCKING TOUCH" catalogue.

As for China's handling of the outbreak, bear in mind that they probably are trying to keep a whole bunch worse shit under wraps, likely in rural areas that are easier to keep quiet, so I have a feeling shit is gonn get real funky in the near future if the CCP are unable to get a hold on the situation.

If the chinese gubmint isnt able to quell panic and/or goes way over the top in trying to suppress it then that shit is going to explode as everyone in that godforsaken selfish peasant state tries to save their own skins by any means necessary from shit that has been hyped up by rumour as an apocalyptic pandemic, from hick factory labourer to ignorant party official to billionaire who doesnt know better.

Odds are I think this wont happen, and the government will have a handle on it and public opinion before long, but there is still a risk of shit going truly bananas if they make a mistake

Well, HK is not bad to say the least, only 2 confirmed cases at the moment, at least not as bad as the Mainland.
Literally take care though, those fuckers really don't have souls and have already escape to different places in China.
