I also refer to lolcows with whatever pronouns they go with. See, a lot of cows think they can just run away from their old bad identity and become a new cool person, they naturally dismiss all the old names, usernames and pronouns as addressing the old them, distancing from own past as if it was another person. By playing along with whatever identity they choose when mocking them, you render their psychological defense mechanism moot. Then they can either create yet another identity as "real" them, which is pathetic and absolutely hilarious, or they have to face the truth that they're still the same awful unlikeable person they were before changing their online persona and pronouns and there's no running away from that.
Smug is pretty underrated imo. His biggest hindrance is his character loyalty.

Aye, that's pretty much a good way to beat in their game: different pronoun and name, same old piece of shit. They often try to hide behind the wall of "This is transphobia" and shit, but if you call them a piece of shit with the correct pronouns, it kinda make it a bit harder for themselves to bring the transphobic card.
