Maybe she's a strigoi, that would explain her bloated, gray visage; hideous, yellow mouth; and god awful smell! Plus strigoi were said to harass their family members!

That's modern vampires, strigoi were the resurrected corpses of peasants and were nothing more but demonic feral animals.
I know we talked in circles about how developmentally behind kai is, but the older she gets the more jarring how juvenile she is and the more I fear for Gracie.
