This is insane. There has to be something we're missing here - there just has to be. Is there any way - any way at all - that he could rank up for less? I.e. is someone else footing the bill? Is he being sponsored? Has he linked his credit card and is making purchases without realizing that he's spending money? That last one wouldn't surprise me to be honest...
I still think there's a chance that this isn't Phil, but all signs so far point to it being him, even if theres no 'smoking gun' as of yet (from the login times, the wrastlers in his roster, the weird mannerisms and phrases used in his discord logs, his butthurt moderation of WWE Champs in his Twitch chat). Some evidence is spurious but his reaction to this whole thing was the reaction I'd expect from someone caught with their pants down. I just can't shake the feeling that something is amiss.
I know Phil is likely to be mentally handicapped at best, and a conman at worst, but surely even he's not tarded enough to be spending this amount of money on a mobile game whilst also attempting to file for bankruptcy. He has to be aware by now that his finances are going to be scrutinised, and pulling shit like this could impact his bankruptcy plan (if you can even call it a plan). Could Phil be a 40 year old example of those kids that spent hundreds of dollars on their parents credit cards to buy Fortnite skins? It makes me wonder why he continues to p(l)ay, and how he intends to argue reasons for why he continued to piss away thousands of dollars whilst also being delinquent on, not only his taxes for the nth year in a row, but also his mortgage (and other potential debt).
I wonder if he's topping up his account without leaving an audit trail that would link it back to him. I'd joke about him using cryptocurrency but honestly I don't see Phil having patience to set everything up (not to mention that he can't follow tutorials to save his bacon). It will be interesting to see how far his account progresses if the bankruptcy is successful...
Shame really... We could of called it the Warhammer $40k saga.
