Not only is Chihiro a guy, his whole backstory is nearly verbatim a typical transbackstory, in that he got bullied so much for not being manly enough that he decided to present as a girl to stop the bullying and stayed in his room to become a programmer. But unlike a typical tranny once it came that he was a guy he was offered support from his friends and started working out to overcome his insecurities (That is before he got violently murdered, but the point still counts.. The one character they could take inspiration from has now been both transed and (legitimately) misgendered.
