Shelter workers are mandatory reporters. Whatever accusations Lowtax wants to make against Ashli are unlikely to stand up against the observations of the people who've watched Ashli parent for the last couple of months and found no reason to believe that Sloane should be removed from her care.

Lowtax thinks this is just going to be Ashli's word against his regarding past events, but that's not the case. Lowtax will have an uphill battle proving that he's been more stable than Ashli over the last couple of months.
