Puberty happens whether you like it or not. If puberty blockers were completely safe, why are stunted growth and sterility so common in kids that take puberty blockers?

Blockers have been consistently linked to bone problems, and that was just what was observed when the drugs were being used on-label. They're just like any other drug-- they have side effects. And the side effects for Lupron and other blockers like it are pretty rough.

It's not the same as, say, a kid who is naturally a late bloomer. It's a drug-induced alteration of the body's natural balance of hormones. Estrogens and testosterones are only a few of many hormones that signal the body to perform certain processes. Removing one type from the array throws everything out of whack. It's sort of like how a certain animal going extinct or overpopulating can change an entire ecosystem.

People seriously need to stop clowning around with their bodies like this. You don't need to call yourself a woman or fuck up your body to wear dresses and pink. It's better to be a weird, intact guy than it is to be a medical aberration.

I found this on /r/detrans a while back. Please discuss because I am pretty sure this assertion isn't true. My impression is that the majority of people on this forum will never accept or respect a trannie's opposite gender presentation to matter how well that trannie passes or how far along they are in their transition. I don't know how this person got the impression that KF is more accommodating of post op trannies. Anyone have an idea what could've given them this impression?

My feeling is that troons have set such a low bar for attempting to pass that some Kiwis are willing to follow pronouns when someone finally puts in some effort. It's also a respect thing - if you're just trying to live your life and don't want to invade spaces or rewrite science to validate your feelings, then using preferred pronouns is fine. I think quite a few people on the Farms still have a mental delineation between 'trans' and 'troon', and so try and show respect to people they think of as 'trans'.

Also, the more someone chimps out about their pronouns the more likely they are to be misgendered, because that's fucking obvious.
