Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Eh, just rename the thread to hog hollerin' contest. Suuuuet here pig pig pig pig piggy pig pig.

That pretty much covers all the bases.
Giving a shout out to Nine Inch Nails by proposing you call it March of the Pigs.

Oh man, these are some good names, I was just gonna go with lolfat look at the fatty fat fuck. It'll take me like a week to sort thru all this so feel free to suggest names (try to add them onto ontopic posts though so it doesn't clog the thread too much, or shoot me a message or something), we can do a poll when the time comes.

I don't see the need for separate threads when the common denominator is just that they're really, really fucking fat and never stop talking about it (and their condishuns which are totally unrelated naturally). Whether they're weight loss scammers/liars/fails or fat acceptance cows is besides the point IMO. If one in particular is interesting enough to have a spinoff thread then so it shall be, but I don't see anything wrong with this one as is.

Michelle Elman is something fucking else. Here she is claiming trauma from being on a cruise in Thailand during the tsunami. What a piece of work.

A spinoff thread about Jen alone could mean the problem goes on because the next similar person is just going to end up being posted about in this thread. I think the spinoff thread shouldn't be about just Jen, it should be able to accommodate other lol-worthy (to some) weight loss oriented youtubers/etc who are just liars and trainwrecks. That way there is a clear divide. If someone is posting about failed weight loss exploits and the like, they go in the new thread. Corissa and everyone else trying to say being 550 lbs is normal and great stay here.

I think it could even fit in the Amberlynn subforum with the title "Amberlynn Clones Around the World/Obese Liars/ Etc"

Personally speaking, nobody in that category is entertaining or very lol worthy to me except Amberlynn herself.
I think having the weight loss turned weight gain journey Amberlynn clones together would be good.

I agree with this too...if it's a slow Jen/Amy day it's nice laughing at Anna, I don't mind them mixing but I do see why people uninterested in one or the other might like them separate.
Also I'd be happy to write up the Jen/Gene summary...though I have no idea what I'm doing, I tried to change my user name to Jen's Ham Loaf and couldn't figure it out.

Meanwhile, in Georgia (the other Georgia), alternate life ALR sings Lizzo

Is it cultural appropriation for a Georgian to sing a song by a black woman that has Japanese words in it. I can't figure it out but I'm sure fat twitter will have some strong words to say before I shove a knife into my brain.

Also this thing is carried by the bassist and big-nosed Michael Jackson but eastern European

@Chip @vanilla_pepsi_head There's an interesting political activist/slacktivist/SJW factor with FA, that is just not present with regular fatties.

We're also getting more and more people whining that [X] fatty should have their own thread, but nobody wants to make one and commit to contributing to the thread regularly to keep it afloat until it gains momentum (and please don't point to the lightning in a bottle that is Amy's thread; that's down to Amy being an excellent cow and Strawberry Douche being an excellent poster). Anyway commitment for fledgling cow threads is crucial; it's not just about writing an OP. This was my issue with creating a "deathfat forum" btw. But a thread is easier. Cows worthy of their own thread will eventually get it; those who aren't quite worthy have a place to be discussed without interfering with DIETS = RAPE!!!!!!! discussion.

Also people bitched at null because he called Amy an FA in his stream and that's probably our fault because she was in the FA thread for so long and I feel bad.

I am pro the split between the two distinct types currently inhabiting this thread, but I haven't been super vocal on it recently since I'm not sure how it should all look in the end (eg, thread? subforum). For what it's worth, a failed weightloss general thread might be the least disruptive and most fruitful way to start, however I'm aware there's also debate about Chantal expanding into a forum or else joining others in a forum, and that's colouring decisions too. @THOTto also.

Thank God for a thread splitting of the FA and constant dieting fattys. . I couldn’t bring myself to work on a Jen thread today. And maybe not ever truthfully. It is just too much blabbering for me to take all at once. No wonder Gene is a drunk. She makes me want to drink too.

Take some medicine and eat a bit of fiber. This moping around is pathetic. You’re probably whinier than your own kids.

This will totally help Anna’s skin problem. Seriously though, she should drink more water. Her skin and body would appreciate it.
In terms of how it is guaranteed to make a persons inner and outer body look and feel the next day is there a worse combination of edible foods on this planet than a giant pint of beer and a giant bowl of greasy takeaway noodles? The only way I can imagine making that meal worse is topping it all off with a milkshake or a pint of Ben & Jerry’s which probably also happened. Anyone who isn’t Michael Phelps at 17 doing cardio for eight hours a day it’s going to feel and look a little bit worse the next day. Of course that’s one thing when you have a meal like that once a month but have a look at Anna and you can see at exactly where having a meal like that every day takes you. At the end of the day with public health in a state of crisis it should be seen as distasteful to glorify eating and living this way.

That’s the problem though. It’s now seen as bad to shame self destructive behavior. The FA movement is built on mediocrity and shamelessness. To tell people that they are destroying themselves is considered “concern trolling”. To say that what these people are wearing is inappropriate and unflattering is called “fatphobic”. The FA movement cowers from any responsibilities, goal setting, and functionality, which is usually at the expense of those around them. You see, Anna believes she should be able to do whatever she wants, and like other FA, thinks it has zero effect on others. This couldn’t be further from the truth. It is from people like her that we see rising healthcare costs, more people unfit for military service, and more people getting health complications at a young age, that creates a burden the people around them have to bear. This is why movements like the FA movement are so dangerous for people to become a part of. If everyone in the United States decided to become a FA, we would turn into a place like Somalia very quickly. It isn’t merely staying fat that’s the problem in FA, it’s the belief that there is no need for self improvement in any aspect of life.

This was posted in Jude’s thread, but this video describes the FA mentality accurately:

Personally, I would be way more concerned someone would drive off with my car.
It's not like they could run after them.
Giving your keys to a strangers? Jesus.
Really though, I’d only see the most desperate want to steal a car from a deathfat. Just think of all the trash, old food, and food stains that are in that car. On top of it, deathfats sweat a lot and have a very weak pelvic floor (which means lots of pee). Additionally, the car suspension is probably shot from having to transport deathfats to the feeding trough. I’d sooner buy a car from the most sleazy car salesman than steal a car owned by deathfats.
